Step 1
Wash the chicken drumsticks properly and add in a clean bowl.
Step 2
Tear the sachet of Maggi chicken spices and empty it into the bowl of chicken.
Step 3
Add a little bit of water and mix the drumsticks with spices properly.
Step 4
Add the drumsticks in the nylon bag that was attached to the Maggi spices then tie up the bag.
Step 5
Place the drumsticks bag in a fridge for 30 minutes to marinate.
Step 6
Bring out the drumsticks from the fridge, layer them on the rack of the instant pot.
Step 7
Set the pressure cooker button of the instant pot on 5 minutes.
Step 8
Meanwhile, pour the mini-wheats into the blender and grind into smaller crumbs.
Step 9
Once the drumsticks are cooked, open the instant pot to release the hot air.
Step 10
Deep each of the drumsticks first into the whisked eggs then coat them with the wheat crumbs.
Step 11
Place the coated drumsticks into the Multi-Level Air Fryer Basket.
Step 12
Note that the Multi-Level Air Fryer Basket has to be attached to the Air Fryer Basket Base of the instant pot.
Step 13
Store any leftover chicken broth for future use or discard it.
Step 14
Wash the inner pot, dry it up and place it back into the instant pot cooker base.
Step 15
Then place the basket of the coated drumsticks into the inner pot that is already placed into the cooker base.
Step 16
Turn on the air fryer button and set the timer accordingly.
Step 17
These drumsticks took 20 mins to air fry to my satisfaction but feel free to set the timer to any time or temperature of choice.
Step 18
Once the drumsticks are done, bring them out from the instant pot and serve hot with sauces of choice like mayonnaise, ketchup, stew etc.
