Step 1

Peel the potatoes.

Step 2

Cut the potatoes into 1/2" inch by 2" inch strips.

Step 3

Cut the onion in 1/4" inch wide strips.

Step 4

Blend the tomatoes with a few ounces of water.

Step 5

Heat the cooking oil in your pot to medium.

Step 6

Saute the onions in the oil until translucent, about 5 to 6 minutes.

Step 7

Add the potatoes to the pot.

Step 8

Add 1/2 tsp. salt.

Step 9

Add 1 tsp bouillon.

Step 10

Strain the tomatoes into the pot.

Step 11

Add water to cover potatoes with 1" of water, about 6 cups of water.

Step 12

Simmer for 30 minutes or until the potatoes are fully cooked.
