Step 1
Cook enough rice to have 2½ cups of cooked rice. 1 cup of dry rice will yield about 3 cups of cooked rice depending on what kind you use.
Step 2
Heat ½ tbsp of oil in a large skillet over medium high heat.
Step 3
Add the turkey and cook until it has browned. Boil off any water if there is any remaining in the skillet. Lightly season with salt and pepper.
Step 4
Heat another skillet over medium high heat and add ½ tbsp of oil.
Step 5
Dice the onion add to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes and then add in the broccoli slaw.
Step 6
Cook until the slaw has softened. You may find it helpful to add some water to the skillet to create steam and cook the vegetables faster.
Step 7
Once both the turkey and vegetables have finished cooking, combine the two into one mixture and add 1 tbsp of soy sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 8
Add all of the ingredients to a blender. Blend until you reach your desired consistency. Longer for smoother, shorter for a coarse dressing. I prefer to shoot for somewhere in the middle.
Step 9
This recipe makes 5 servings. Divide your ingredients evenly between your 5 containers. Top each with sesame seeds if you desire.
