Step 1

Add the lemon juice, sugar, salt, mint leaves (if using), ice and 1/2 cup water to a blender. For both sugar and salt, start with a smaller quantity so you have the ability to taste and add more if needed.

Step 2

Blend for 30 seconds or until the sugar is well dissolved

Step 3

Add the remaining water (2 1/2 cups) and mix. Taste and adjust the flavor as needed

Step 4

Pour into 2 glasses and serve!
