Step 1
Carefully remove the peel from the lemon and grapefruit with a knife or peeler, reserving some of the peel for garnish. Quarter the peeled lemons and grapefruit then remove most of the seeds. Add them to the mixing bowl and with the measuring cup inserted, blend the fruit for 45 seconds / speed Remove from the mixing bowl and reserve for later. Clean out the mixing bowl.
Step 2
Add your sugar and water to the mixing bowl. With the measuring cup inserted, cook your syrup for 10 minutes / 250°F|120°C / speed 3 / stir. Once cooked, allow your syrup to cool down in the mixing bowl for 10 minutes.TIP: Add your mixing bowl into an ice bath to cool down faster.
Step 3
Add your processed fruit back to the mixing bowl. Mix for 1 minute / speed 3 / stir. By mixing the lemonade again, it will give a shiny finish to your drink.
Step 4
Once done, pass your lemonade through a sieve and fill it. Serve into glasses with some more ice and some peel.
