Step 1
Cut beef into large pieces. Place beef into the slow cooker.
Step 2
Add celery, onion and capsicum.
Step 3
In a separate bowl, combine tomato sauce, tomato paste, brown sugar, vinegar, chilli, lemon juice, molasses, salt, Worcestershire sauce and mustard powder.
Step 4
Pour over beef.
Step 5
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
Step 6
Remove meat and shred with a fork. Place meat back into the sauce.
Step 7
Toast the rolls, or place under a hot grill for a few minutes.
Step 8
Serve beef on rolls using a slotted spoon. Sprinkle grated cheese on top, if desired.
