Step 1
Place the mango, banana, orange, yoghurt and vanilla in a blender. Blend until smooth.
Step 2
Label and date a medium Ziploc freezer bag. Stand the bag upright in a \ bowl. Pour 500ml (2 cups) smoothie mixture into the bag. Carefully place the bag on a clean work surface, keeping the open end of the bag a little higher so the smoothie doesn’t spill.
Step 3
Carefully allow the smoothie mixture to level out in the bag (this will push the air out), then seal. Repeat to make 2 more bags.
Step 4
Stack smoothie bags flat in the freezer. Place in the freezer for 20 minutes or until just starting to firm up, then lay a chopstick across the bag. Press down through the centre of the mixture to make an indentation and divide into 2 portions. Place in the freezer until frozen.
Step 5
To serve, break the smoothie mixture along the indent and add half to a blender. Reseal remaining portion and return to the freezer. Add 125ml (1/2 cup) coconut water or milk of your choice to blender and bend until smooth. Serve immediately.
