Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a large muffin tin pan with coconut oil spray.
Step 2
Roll out the thawed puff pastry dough and cut into four squares. For two sheets of puff pastry, you'll end up with 8 squares.
Step 3
In a stand mixer, combine the softened room temperature cream cheese and the sugar and mix well until you have a batter formed.
Step 4
Place the puff pastry sheets into the large sprayed muffin and for them into cups.
Step 5
Add a tablespoon of cream cheese to the puff pastry cups, but don't overfill.
Step 6
Add a tablespoon of the sugar plum jam over the cream cheese layer, and again, don't overfill. Brush the crust with eggwash.
Step 7
Bake sugar plum Danish Starbucks pastry for 30 minutes or until golden brown. The edges should be crispy. Let Danish cool to room temperature BEFORE removing from muffin tin.
Step 8
Let Sugar Plum Cheese Danish cool on a wire rack before serving. Trust me, let them cool. These pastries get very hot during the cooking process. Let them cool and enjoy with some coffee.
