Step 1

Season wings with salt and pepper. Let them rest for 30 minutes. Pat dry on both sides with paper towel. Coat with cornstarch. Add to your air fryer, coat with cooking spray and cook at 400 F for 35 minutes, flipping once halfway through and spraying again.

Step 2

While your wings are cooking, take a small saucepan and add soy sauce, sugar and sake, and cook over medium heat. Add in the grated garlic and ginger. Bring to a boil and add black vinegar.

Step 3

Once your wings and sauce are ready, pour the sauce into a mixing bowl and add your wings, tossing them in the sauce.

Step 4

Remove wings from the sauce and plate, garnishing with sansho pepper and sesame seeds.
