The Weird and Wonderful Ways You Can Cook with Kudzu (Really!) – Garden & Gun

In a pot over medium-high heat, combine sugar and water and bring to a boil. Once sugar has dissolved, remove the pot from the heat and add kudzu flowers. Let steep until the mixture is room temperature, then strain into an airtight container. When ready to drink, combine 1½ oz. of the simple syrup with 1½ oz. of lemon juice and watch it change colors before your eyes. Pour into a Collins glass filled with ice and top with the alcohol or bubbly water of your choice.
