Step 1

Heat a large skillet over medium high heat, add in the sliced pork, gochujang, soy sauce, sugar, chili flakes, black pepper and sesame oil. You don’t need to add any oil to start as the fat from the pork will render and there will be more than enough for the stir fry.

Step 2

Mix well and allow to cook, stir frequently. If needed, turn the heat down to medium. You don’t want the sauce to burn but as long as you are stirring frequently, you shall be fine.

Step 3

After 8 minutes, add in the garlic, ginger, onion, mushroom and scallions. Continue to cook for another 7 minutes. The pork should crisp up slightly towards the end.

Step 4

Serve with rice and enjoy.
