This air fryer rack of lamb recipe is a showstopper and a quick and easy way to cook the entire rack of lamb that is delicious and juicy on the inside, while crispy on the outside. Cooking a rack of lamb in the air fryer helps to lock in the juices and flavor, while also creating a nice crust.

The Best Air Fryer Rack of Lamb You Will Ever Have

lamb (trimmed)

thyme

rosemary

garlic powder

All you need is a little salt

Pat dry - use paper towels to pat the rack of lamb dry

Season generously - Rub the rack of lamb with oil and seasoning + herbs. Refrigerate and let marinate for at least 1 hour or up to 24 hours

Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C)

Air fry - Place the lamb fat side up in the air fryer rack or tray and cook for 12 minutes.

Flip the rack of lamb on the other side and cook for another 12 minutes

Transfer the lamb to a cutting board and let rest for 3 to 10 minutes.

Cut between the bones to cut into individual lamb rib chops and serve.

Air Fryer Lamb Chops

Mix all of the ingredients, except for the lamb chops, in a Ziploc bag. And shake to combine.

Then place the lamb chops into the bag, and refrigerate for at least one hour. You will get a really nice flavor.

Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees F.

Line air fryer basket with parchment paper insert.

Rub lamb chops with olive oil and garlic, then rub with seasoning mixture, until well-coated on both sides.

Place lamb chops in air fryer basket with at least 2 inches between each one.

Cook in air fryer for 15 minutes, flipping once. (or until a minimum internal temp of 135°F is reached)

Allow chops to rest for 3-4 minutes before serving.

I just made these. They came out perfect. I willmake it again. And, so easy and quick. Thanks for sharing this recipe.

Most air fryers require pre-heating. But only takes a few minutes, making them much more economical  than an oven.

Absolutely delicious all the family loved them will definitely be making again. Had no coriander it did not make any difference  still a great recipe

Being Irish, I love lamb. But living in a small apartment, I hate the heavy oily smell you get broiling or frying lamb chops.  I have the smallest air fryer I could find ( cooks for 1 or 2 people). I used this recipe tonight and did not get that smell permeating the whole apartment..  and they were delicious ?

Just made them...too hungry to marinate...seasoned as directed minus the oregano..I was out. ..but all else was added and they came out delicious ?.  I will sure make this again!

Then place the lamb chops into the bag, and refrigerate for at least one hour. You will get a really nice flavor.

Then place the lamb chops into the air fryer and set the temperature to 200 degrees C, or 390 degrees F., and set the time for 3 minutes, then flip them, and do for another 4 minutes.

I like to eat my lamb on a medium-rare. If you would like them done, increase the time.

Plate, serve, and enjoy!
