The one and only Almond Flour Banana Bread recipe you need. Sweetened with a little bit of coconut sugar and ripe bananas, this low-carb banana almond loaf is gluten-free, dairy-free, wheat-free, and paleo friendly.

Almond Flour Banana Bread

2-3 Ripe (Brown-Speckled, Medium Bananas, mashed, about 1 ¼ cups (300 grams))

Large eggs Eggs (at room temperature)

(70 grams) Coconut Sugar OR ¼ cup (84 grams) Maple Syrup/Honey

Tablespoon (15 grams) Apple Cider Vinegar

(4 grams) Vanilla Extract

(240 grams) Almond Flour

(28 grams) Ground Flaxseed

(3 grams) Ground Cinnamon

¾ teaspoon (4 grams) Baking Soda

(4 grams) Baking Powder

½ teaspoon (2 grams) Fine Sea Salt

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease an 8X4 or 9x5 inch loaf pan with 1 teaspoon oil and line with a piece of parchment paper in the middle, with excess hanging out of the sides (this helps for easy removal).

In a medium bowl, whisk together the oil, mashed bananas, eggs, coconut sugar OR maple syrup/honey, apple cider vinegar and vanilla extract.

In a large bowl, whisk together the almond flour, flaxseed, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder and salt. 

Mix dry and wet ingredients together. Fold in the chocolate chips, if using.

Transfer to the prepared loaf pan, smooth the top and sprinkle with chocolate chips, if using, gently pressing them onto the surface. Bake 55-60 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. 

Let cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely.

Slice and serve.

Healthy Almond Flour Banana Bread Recipe | Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Paleo-Friendly

Almond flour banana bread is soft, tender, and full of bananas!  This quick-bread recipe is the perfect afterschool snack, lunchtime treat or toasted with butter for a naughty breakfast! 

(1/4 Cup) Melted Butter

Grams (1/2 Cup) Light Brown Sugar

Large Eggs,

Teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract

Medium Bananas, very ripe

336 Grams (3 Cups) Almond Flour

Teaspoon Salt

Teaspoon Baking Soda

Optional Topping: 3 Tablespoons Brown Sugar

Preheat oven to 350F/180C and grease a 9X5 loaf pan.

In a medium bowl whisk together the almond flour, salt, and baking soda.

In a large bowl mix together the butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla.

Add bananas and use a potato masher to mash them. Gently fold in the dry ingredients until just combined.

Pour into prepared pan. Sprinkle optional brown sugar topping.

Bake for 48-53 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool at least 30 minutes before removing from pan. Let cool on a wire rack. Store at room temperature unless you live in a warm climate store in the fridge.

This was the best banana bread ever! It was moist and delicious. I made it for a friend  who suffers from many allergies. She was able to eat it and loved it. Thank you for sharing!
