Not only are these meatballs gluten-free and dairy-free but they are easy to make in your slow cooker with only 5 ingredients and a few minutes of your time! Make the gravy for an even more delicious meal!

Gluten Free Meatballs

beef

pork

gluten free panko bread crumbs

dairy free milk

herb and garlic seasoning

beef broth

tomato paste

tapioca flour

dairy free cream

Mix together breadcrumbs with milk and set aside for 5-10 minutes to soak

Add soaked breadcrumbs to ground meat, egg and seasoning in a bowl and mix gently with hands until combined

Form into 14-16 equal sized meatballs and place in slow cooker

Mix together tapioca flour with an equal amount of water until smooth and then mix with broth and tomato paste

Pour over meatballs and cover

Cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6-8

Remove meatballs and set aside

Add dairy free cream to sauce in slow cooker and whisk until smooth

Serve meatballs topped with sauce

Easy and totally homemade! These Slow Cooker BBQ Meatballs are the perfect treat for a summer bbq, game watching party or even a weeknight dinner.

Slow Cooker BBQ Meatballs

panko bread crumbs

milk

goat cheese

shallots

BBQ seasoning

BBQ sauce (homemade

olive oil (optional)

Add milk to panko bread crumbs in small bowl and let soak for 5 minutes or until softened

Add to pork and beef along with egg, cheese, shallots and BBQ seasoning

Mix using hands until well combined but be careful not to overwork mixture

Using hands or ice cream scooper measure out 12 servings and roll gently into balls (a little larger than golfballs)

Place on foil lined baking sheet and place in oven

Turn on broiler and broil for 5-8 minutes watching closely until browned on top

OR, heat olive oil in skillet and brown meatballs on each side for 2-3 minutes

Transfer to slow cooker

Whisk together BBQ sauce and blueberry preserves

Pour half of mixture over meatballs

Cover and cook on high for 2-3 hours for low for 4-6 until meatballs are fully cooked through

Remove from slow cooker and toss with remaining sauce (discard any cooking liquid from slow cooker)

These crowd-pleasing tender meatballs are smothered in a super flavorful honey garlic bbq sauce. 

Honey Garlic Crockpot Meatballs

BBQ sauce ((use your favorite brand))

honey

garlic

cayenne pepper

oz bag pre-cooked frozen meatballs (thawed)

Lightly spray a slow cooker insert with nonstick cooking spray.

Add bbq sauce, honey, garlic, and cayenne pepper to slow cooker insert and stir to combine well.

Add thawed meatballs and stir to coat well.  																																																														Cover and cook on LOW for. 3-4 hours or HIGH for 2 hours.

Stir before serving; serve hot.

Tender baked meatballs loaded with fresh, bold, Thai flavors, smothered in a sticky sweet/savory sauce that is truly finger-lickin good!

Sticky Thai Meatballs

beef (I prefer to use 90/10)

onion

garlic (finely minced or grated)

ginger

- 2 Tbsp green curry paste

Tbsp fish sauce

tsp kosher salt

tsp black pepper

beef broth (or use additional 1/4 cup water)

cornstarch

soy sauce (low sodium is preferred)

- 3 Tbsp sweet chili sauce

Tbsp honey

Tbsp rice vinegar

tsp red pepper flakes

green onion

sesame seeds

Thai chiles (careful, these are HOT)

Preheat oven to 425°F and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.  Set aside.

In a large bowl, mix together beef, diced onion, garlic, ginger, green curry paste, fish sauce, egg, salt and pepper.

Use a small cookie scoop to make approximately 30 equally sized portions. Each one will be about one tablespoon. To make rolling easier, coat your hands with a bit of oil (or nonstick spray) and roll each portion into a tight ball then place them on your prepared baking sheet.

Bake about 20 minutes.

MAKE THE MEATBALLS

While the meatballs are baking, whisk together water, beef broth, and cornstarch in a small sauce pan. Heat over MED heat, then add soy sauce, honey, sweet chili sauce, rice vinegar. Simmer about 7 minutes until the sauce thickens and reduces by about half.

After meatballs have baked for 20 minutes, remove from the oven and brush meatballs liberally with sauce.

Return pan to the oven and bake another 5-7 minutes, until sauce is sticky and thick.

Serve hot, with any desired garnishes, and drizzled with any extra sauce if desired.
