Delicious, quick and easy mini apple pies made with Pillsbury crescent rolls in less than 30 minutes!

Apple Pie Bites

brown sugar

apple pie spice,

unsalted butter, melted

pecans

(8 ounce) tube Pillsbury Original crescent rolls

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a small bowl, combine brown sugar and apple pie spice. Set aside.

Melt butter and toss apple slices in butter, set aside.

Arrange crescent roll triangles on baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Evenly distribute brown sugar mixture onto each triangle.

Sprinkle each triangle evenly with the chopped pecans.

Place an apple slice on the wide end of each triangle. Wrap crescent roll dough around each apple.

Brush each crescent roll with remaining butter. Sprinkle lightly with additional apple pie spice.

Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Can I use apple pie filling or fried apples  for this recipe?

Turned out as expected. I added cream cheese before rolling all the ingredients together. I also chopped small bits of apple along with the slices and added before rolling it all together, otherwise the bread was the main taste. I wanted more apple, more seasoning and tweaked it a bit to find what worked for me.

Apple Pie Bites are going to be your new favorite dessert! They have all the flavor of apple pie, but none of the work!

apple pie filling (21 ounce)

eight count crescent rolls

butter

cinnamon & sugar

Unroll your crescent rolls so you have individual flat triangles.

In the center of each triangle drop 2-3 apple pieces from your pie filling.

Gather the corners of each triangle at the top and pinch closed along the sides. It's okay if a little filling oozes out!

Bake at 375 degrees on a parchment lined cookie sheet, for 10 -12 minutes, until pockets are turning a pretty golden color.

Allow to cool for a couple minutes, drizzle with melted butter, sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar, and serve warm.

Apple Pie Wedges

apples

butter (melted)

sugar

cinnamon

confectioners sugar

vanilla

milk

Preheat oven to 350° Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius)

Roll out the thawed pie dough and slice the dough into 12 wedges.

Brush the sliced dough with half of the melted butter.

Combine the cinnamon and sugar into a bowl and sprinkle half the mixture over the buttered pie wedges.

Roll each peeled apple slice in a wedge of the prepared pie dough.

Place each rolled wedge onto a parchment lined baking sheet.

Brush each with the remaining melted butter and sprinkle each with the remaining cinnamon sugar.

Bake in a preheated oven for approximately 50 minutes or when golden brown and the apples are tender.

Cool completely.

Meanwhile, mix the confectioners sugar with the vanilla and milk until no lumps remain.

When cool, drizzle the wedges with the glaze and serve at room temperature.

The Apple Pie Bites are super fun to make and perfect for quick and easy baking!

Apple Pie Crescent Rolls

Crescent rolls (8 count tube)

butter (vegan if ya want)- melted

apple

nutmeg

all spice

Lay out each crescent roll on a clean flat surface.

In a bowl, mix together the butter and apple slices.

In another bowl, mix together the sugar + spices. Evenly divide the sugar mixture on top of the crescent rolls and press it down into the roll with your hand so that it really sticks.

Lay a buttered apple on the wide end of each roll and roll up the crescent roll as usual.

Place on a lined baking sheet. Brush the remaining butter that was in the apple bowl on top of each roll and sprinkle them with cane sugar + dash of cinnamon.

These were so delicious and easy to make!! My boyfriends family is from lithuania and I wanted to suprise him by making these. My sister and I made them together, we spilled the brown sugar everywhere but it was a fun experience overall!
