Tender chicken breasts smothered in a rich garlic cream sauce, all made in the same pan, and ready in less than 30 minutes!

One Pan Creamy Garlic Chicken Breasts

chicken breast

tsp kosher salt

tsp black pepper

paprika

all purpose flour ((for dredging))

olive oil

Tbsp butter

shallots, (finely minced (or 1 small yellow onion))

Tbsp garlic

chicken broth

heavy cream

Italian seasoning

Parmesan cheese ((fresh is best))

Add flour to a shallow dish.  Season chicken on both sides with a total of 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper, and 1/4 tsp paprika.  Add chicken to flour dish, one at a time, turning to coat lightly in flour.

Heat olive oil in heavy skillet over MED HIGH heat until hot.  Add butter, then add flour-dredged chicken to skillet, being careful not to overcrowd the pan.  If your pan is less than 12 inches across, you may need to brown the chicken in batches.

Cook chicken for approximately 4-5 minutes per side, until cooked and golden brown.  Remove to a plate and set aside.

Reduce heat to MED LOW, and add a small drizzle of oil to pan (remember, DON&#x27;T clean it out!), then add shallots and cook for 2-3 minutes, until soft and fragrant.  Add garlic and cook another 30 seconds or so.

Carefully pour in chicken broth or stock, scraping the bottom of the pan to loosen any browned bits.  Pour in heavy cream and stir well to combine.

Cook 2-4 minutes, or until thickened slightly.  Stir in 1/4 tsp each of pepper and Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese.  Add chicken back to the pan, nestling them in and moving them around so the flour will help thicken the sauce.

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Place the chicken breasts in a rimmed baking dish and pat dry with a paper towel.

Preheat your oven to 425F/220C. In a small bowl, mix together the paprika, garlic powder, thyme, salt and pepper until combined.

Lightly coat the chicken breasts in olive oil, and then generously rub the spice mix on both sides of the chicken.

Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and cook for 20-25 minutes, depending on size (see chart above). Let the chicken rest for a few minutes to allow the juices to redistribute within the meat, then serve.

I made this when I was a meat-eater and we loved it! I have been pescatarian since July 2019, but I didn't want to give up my favorite recipes.   Last night,  I made 2 smaller baking dishes of the Chicken Salsa Verde... one with chicken breast and one with Earthgrown Chickenless Strips.   Served over Jasmine rice.   The vegetarian option was delish!   So happy to still have this recipe!   Just had to rethink it a bit!  Yum!

Baked Salsa Verde Chicken Will Spice Up Your Weeknights!

Potatoes tossed in garlic and olive oil and baked to a golden brown with tender, juicy chicken thighs. A family favorite!

Chicken Potato Bake

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F/220 degrees C.

Place the potato cubes in a large bowl, add the garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper, and toss to coat.

Spray a large (9x13) baking dish with non stick spray.

Spread potato mixture in dish and bake about 15 minutes.

Remove baking dish from oven and place the chicken pieces in the dish, nestling them down into the potato mixture a bit.

If desired, brush the top of each chicken piece with a little olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

Bake 20-25 minutes, until chicken is cooked and potatoes are browned.

Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the top, return to the oven and bake for a few more minutes to melt the cheese.

When serving, sprinkle chopped parsley on top (if desired).

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.  Prepare your chicken by using a rubber mallet to pound the chicken to even thickness.

In a small bowl add the brown sugar, chili powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder.

Rub evenly and on both sides of the chicken.

Grease a 9x13 inch pan and add the chicken.  Bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until a thermometer reads 165 degrees.

Remove the chicken from the oven and let rest for 10 minutes to adsorb the juices.

Ever wonder how long to bake chicken leg quarters, thighs, or legs? It takes at least an hour but the key is all about the temperature and the timing.

How Long to Bake Chicken Leg Quarters

4 chicken leg quarters (about 3 pounds)

Place the chicken leg quarters in the bottom of a rimmed baking sheet or a baking dish.

Melt the butter and brush it over each chicken leg quarter.

Sprinkle generously with seasoning of choice.

Cover the pan with foil and bake for one hour.

Increase the oven temperature to 425 degrees, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-20 minutes until the skin is crisped to your liking and the chicken registers 165 degrees on an instant read thermometer.

Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Great recipe, turned out perfect. Quick question, there’s this chicken place I love called barcelos, they don’t sell their hot sauce and I can’t seem to recreate it.  It’s a peri peri based sauce but it’s creamy and it has a citrus tang to it and another flavour I can’t quite place. Any ideas?

I used to make lemon pepper chicken all the time before I had kids. My oldest is 4 now and I couldn't remember how long to bake my chicken for, especially since I usually used drumsticks but had leg quarters this time. Thanks for refreshing my memory and making it such a base recipe that it was easy to know exactly what to do.

Juicy baked chicken breasts stuffed with classic New Orleans Muffuletta fillings, like salami, olives, and cheese!

Muffuletta Stuffed Chicken Breast Recipe

cheddar cheese

swiss cheese

salami

kalamata olives, (chopped)

pimento stuffed green olives, (chopped)

capers, (drained)

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.&nbsp;Lay the chicken breasts flat on the baking sheet. Starting from one side, cut a deep slit (or pocket) into each chicken breast, parallel to the baking sheet, leaving three sides intact. Try to make the cut even so the attached edges are all about 1/2-inch thick.

Chop the salami and olives. Shred the cheeses.

Into a mixing bowl, measure both kinds of cheese, diced salami, chopped olives, and capers. Mix well.

Stuff the mixture evenly into the chicken breasts, turning them upright, so the stuffing is facing up. Sprinkle the tops with ground black pepper.

Bake for 25 minutes, until the chicken breasts have cooked through and the filling is bubbly. Serve warm.

Muffuletta Stuffed Chicken Breast Recipe: Juicy baked chicken breasts stuffed with classic New Orleans Muffuletta fillings, like salami, olives, and cheese!

This baked Greek chicken recipe is a weeknight favorite. Marinated in yogurt, lemon and garlic, this chicken is flavorful in every bite.

Easy Baked Greek Chicken Recipe

lbs chicken breast (boneless skinless)

plain Greek yogurt

oregano

garlic (minced)

lemon (juice of)

tsp salt

tsp red pepper flakes

In a large bowl mix yogurt, oregano, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, salt and pepper.

Add the chicken and using a pair or tongs, flip it around to make sure it&#039;s fully coated with the yogurt marinade.

Cover and marinate for at least one hour up to overnight in the fridge.

When you&#039;re ready to cook, take the chicken out of the fridge and place it on the counter.

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and coat with cooking spray.

Using a pair of tongs, take the chicken out of the marinade and shake off the excess marinade and place it on the baking sheet.

Bake in the oven for 30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Let it sit for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with your favorite side dish.

Garlic Butter Baked Chicken Thighs

Tbsp Italian seasoning*

tsp sea salt

½ tsp black pepper

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Microwave the stick of butter in a microwave-safe bowl until melted (about 30-60 seconds).

Stir in the minced garlic, Italian seasoning, sea salt and black pepper until the ingredients are well combined to make the garlic butter sauce.

Remove the chicken from its packaging and pat the thighs dry using a paper towel if there is any excess liquid.

Transfer the chicken thighs to a large casserole dish or baking dish in a single layer.

Spoon the garlic butter mixture over the thighs, spreading it so that the full surface of the skin is coated with garlic butter herb mixture. Note: if you like salty food like me, sprinkle some sea salt over the chicken either before or after dousing the thighs with the butter mixture.

Bake on the center rack of the preheated oven for 40 minutes. Remove the chicken from the oven and spoon the juices over the thighs (baste the chicken). Turn the heat up to 425 degrees F and bake for an additional 5 to 10 minutes for crispy chicken skin, or until the chicken skin is golden brown and reaches your desired level of crisp. For even crispier skin, move the oven rack to the shelf that’s third from the top (if it isn’t there already) and broil for 3 to 5 minutes or until the chicken skin is extra crispy.

Chicken thighs are considered fully cooked once they reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees F; however, I find the taste and texture is best when they are cooked to 180 degrees or higher. Unlike chicken breasts, bone-in thighs have superior texture when they are cooked slightly longer. Nevertheless, feel free to cook the thighs to your desired doneness, provided the internal temperature is 165 or over. To check the temperature, insert a meat thermometer into the thickest part of the thigh and wait until the numbers stop moving to get an accurate read.

Serve garlic butter chicken thighs with your favorite sides and enjoy! Steamed or roasted veggies and white rice or brown rice are great options to soak up some of the sauce. I like to spoon the juices from the pan over rice. Serve with lemon slices so that you can drizzle fresh lemon juice over the tender chicken thighs if you'd like.
