Honey Garlic Wings (Oven Baked)

flour

salt & pepper

olive oil

honey

soy sauce

garlic

Preheat oven to 425°F. Dab wings with paper towels until completely dry.

Toss wings with flour, salt and pepper.&nbsp;Remove any excess flour and brush with olive oil (or use an olive oil spray).

Line a pan with foil and then place parchment paper on top (you may need 2 pans) and bake 35 minutes turning at 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, combine sauce ingredients in a small pan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer about 10 minutes or until slightly thickened and sauce coats the back of a spoon.

Take wings from oven, toss with sauce and return to the oven for 10 minutes, turning after 5 minutes.

Allow to cool 10 minutes. As the sauce cools, it thickens. Stir the wings every few minutes to coat in the sauce as it thickens.

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

Line a baking sheet with foil. Dot the foil with the butter, there is no need to melt it ahead of time but you can if you would like.

In a medium sized bowl, combine flour, paprika, garlic powder, and salt and pepper.

Coat both sides of each wing fully in the flour mixture and place on the baking sheet. Make sure the butter pieces are evenly spaced out among the wings.

Bake wings for 30 minutes.

Turn wings over and bake for an additional 15 more minutes or until crispy and fully cooked.

Serve with your favorite dipping sauce and sprinkle with fresh parsley if desired.

Sticky Chinese Chicken Wings

chicken

tsp sesame oil (, toasted)

lemon juice

Chinese cooking wine ((Shaoxing wine, sub Mirin, dry sherry))

soy sauce (, light or all purpose)

tbsp brown sugar

hoisin sauce

tbsp oyster sauce

ketchup (or Aussie tomato sauce)

tbsp chilli garlic sauce

garlic (, minced)

tbsp ginger (, finely grated)

tsp five spice powder

shallots/scallions

Sesame seeds

Coriander/cilantro leaves

chili

Mix Marinade ingredients.

Place wings in large bowl, pour over Marinade and toss well. Set aside for 10 minutes - do not marinate for longer than 1 hour. (Note 3)

Preheat the oven to 180C/350F.

Line baking tray with foil then greaseproof paper (you&#x27;ll thank me later).

Shake excess marinade off wings (but reserve the marinade) and spread on baking tray - can be fairly snug but not super squished (use 2 trays if needed).

Bake 45 - 50 minutes, basting with a brush at 25 minutes and 35 minutes, using the reserved marinade and juieces on the tray.

The meat should be able to be pulled off the bones quite easily, they should be just starting to char on the edges and a sticky, dark red/golden colour all over.

Sprinkle with garnishes - coriander/cilantro leaves, sesame seeds, chilli, sliced shallots/scallions - then serve!

Baked Chicken Wings w/ Chipotle Rub and Creamy Cilantro Dipping Sauce

Pre heat oven to 425F  Place salt, sugar and spices in a medium bowl and mix.

Toss each wing in the spices, coating all sides, and place them on a wire rack placed inside a foil lined baking sheet.

When oven is hot, roast wings 20 minutes, turn over, and bake 10 more minutes, or until done. For extra crispy skin, turn over again, broil for a couple minutes, careful not to burn.

While chicken is roasting, place all ingredients for the dipping sauce in a food processor and pulse until smooth. Place in a bowl and serve on the side.

These are the best chicken wings I have ever had! The sauce compliments the wings  and the taste is fantastic. I can’t wait to cook these again!

Preheat the oven to 400ºF. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil, then place two wire cooling racks over top to elevate the chicken wings.

In a small bowl, stir together the cornstarch, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Pat the chicken wings dry, then add them to a bowl with the cornstarch mixture, and stir until the chicken wings are coated.

Place the cornstarch coated wings on the prepared baking sheet (on the wire racks). Bake in the oven for 50 minutes, give or take 5 minutes depending on the size of the wings, or until they are light golden brown and the skin is crispy.

While the wings are baking, make the honey mustard sauce. Stir together the mayonnaise, Dijon, yellow mustard, honey, vinegar, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.

When the chicken wings are finished baking, place them in a clean bowl and pour the honey mustard sauce over top. Stir until the wings are coated. Serve immediately.

Sweet, salty, spicy, sticky and succulent all rolled into one - just a warning, these are totally addictive. They're also baked, not fried and EASY!

Strawberry Balsamic Baked Wings

For the brine:

½ quart cool water

sugar

For the chicken:

For the glaze:

strawberry jam*

balsamic vinegar

garlic (finely minced)

Sriacha sauce**

For garnishing:

To prepare the brine, combine the water, kosher salt and sugar in a large bowl. Stir for 30 seconds to 1 minute till salt and sugar are completely dissolved. Add chicken wings, cover and refrigerate for 1-2 hours.

While wings are brining, prepare the sauce. Combine all sauce ingredients in a medium size pan. Bring to a boil and then reduce to a very low, but constant simmer. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, then set aside to cool.

Line one sheet pan with several thicknesses of paper towels and another with parchment paper. Preheat oven to 425.

Drain chicken well, then spread out on the paper towel-lined sheet pan. Pat dry with more paper towels. Allow to sit on paper towels for another 10 minutes, then discard paper towels and transfer wings to the parchment paper lined pan. (You want the wings as dry as possible.)

Spread wing pieces out on the parchment lined sheet pan so that pieces are not touching. Sprinkle liberally with freshly ground black pepper. Bake for 15 minutes then flip with a tongs to opposite side and bake another 15 minutes.

Remove wings from the oven and increase oven temperature to 475˚F.

Transfer 5 tablespoons of the sauce to a large bowl. Transfer wings to bowl and toss to coat. Discard parchment paper and any accumulated grease.

Line a sheet pan with foil (for easy clean up) and set a wire cooling rack in the pan (or on top of pan). Spray wire rack liberally with cooking spray to prevent sticking.

Bake for 5 minutes, then remove from oven and brush ribs liberally with sauce. Return to oven for another 5 minutes then repeat brushing with sauce. If wings are not deeply mahogany-hued, repeat brushing with glaze and 5 minutes in the oven one more time.

Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Allow to cool for about 5 minutes, then sprinkle with finely chopped cilantro or parsley. Serve and enjoy!
