Place the bananas on a plate and freeze for 20 minutes.

Place the bananas in the blender.&nbsp;

Add in ice cream and whole milk. Sprinkle the ground cinnamon.&nbsp;

blend for 12 to 18 seconds until all is mixed.&nbsp;

Serve immediately with whipped cream and cinnamon.&nbsp;

This homemade banana shake is a prefect treat anytime round the year! Super delicious, flavorsome, creamy and oh so good that you will love this for the nutrition it provides.

If using milk (dairy) boil, cool and chill it. Using milk directly without boiling may split the shake. If you want a chilled shake, simply freeze the sliced bananas for 1 hour in the freezer. 

Optional - Rinse and soak cashews for 30 mins or almonds for 4 to 6 hours. Peel the skin and discard. Give the nuts a good rinse. You can also add them directly to the blender without soaking and blanching.

Add them to a blender jar. Also add dates or sugar.

Next add cinnamon or cardamom powder &amp; vanilla extract if you prefer.

Pour the water or milk.  Then blend well.  To reduce the chunks, blend them as smooth as possible.

Add banana and blend until smooth and frothy.

Pour banana shake to serving glasses. Consume the milkshake immediately. You can top the banana shake with your favorite toppings. I usually add a pinch of cinnamon.

How to make banana shake

Add 2 large bananas, 6 scoops of ice cream and ½ cup of milk. Blend until smooth and frothy. If you want a thinner banana shake simply add more milk &amp; blend.

Coconut Milk (- lite or with a thin to medium consistency)

Add raw sugar or your preferred choice of sweetener. You can choose to omit the sweetener.

Blend everything until smooth and creamy. If you find the banana shake to be too thick for your liking, add a few splashes of water and blend again.

Pour the milkshake in glasses and serve right away.

Making Banana Shake

If you like you can sprinkle some cinnamon or cardamom powder onto each banana milkshake. Top with some chopped nuts if you like. Serve right away while cold.

To get the best flavor and taste, drink the banana shake as soon as you make it as banana discolors due to oxidation. I would not suggest to refrigerate the banana shake even for a few hours.
