<em>Crispy Honey BBQ Chicken Wings - baked instead of fried these classic chicken wings are crispy, tender and smothered in a sweet spicy Honey BBQ Sauce! A definite crowd pleaser and the perfect game day recipe!</em>

Crispy Baked Honey BBQ Chicken Wings

garlic powder

smoked paprika

favorite BBQ sauce (I used Stubbs)

honey

mustard

sriracha sauce

Add chicken to a large bowl. Pat chicken dry.

Drizzle with 2 tablespoons of canola oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, sea salt and pepper. Toss to coat all the chicken.

Place chicken on a wire rack lined baking sheet. (if you don&#8217;t have a wire rack, use parchment paper)

Bake for 40 minutes, flipping the chicken after 20 minutes.

Place chicken under broiler for 8-10 minutes, until browned.

In the meantime, heat a medium sauce pan to medium heat. Add BBQ sauce, honey, stone ground mustard and sriracha sauce. Stir and bring to a simmer, let simmer for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

Remove chicken from oven. Place in a large bowl, pour the Honey BBQ sauce over the chicken wings. Using a pair of tongs, toss the wings to coat all of them with the sauce.

Optional: add chopped chives for garnish.

Just made these for the Super Bowl and my whole family couldn’t stop saying how they were better than from a restaurant! My husband even fried up a few, but we thought the baked ones were the best. Definitely making these again!

My whole family loves this crispy chicken wings recipe. It&#x27;s super easy to throw together and it works as an appetiser with a dollop of mayonnaise, as finger food and as part of a main course together with a crunchy green salad. BBQ flavour, but made in the oven!

Crispy BBQ Keto Chicken Wings

35 oz / 1 kg chicken wings

olive oil

paprika

2-3 tbsp Golden Lakanto (or another brown sugar alternative)

tsp black pepper

tsp salt

tsp chilli powder

mustard powder

Preheat the oven to 220 Celsius / 200 Celsius fan / 428 Fahrenheit.

Prepare the rub by mixing all the dry ingredients together in a bowl.

Heat a large cast iron skillet or non stick frying pan and sear the chicken wings for 2 - 3minutes per side. (If using a cast iron skillet you may need to grease with a little oil to prevent sticking.)

Once seared, place the chicken wings in a mixing bowl and toss with the rub and olive oil or butter. Massage until fully coated.

Place the BBQ Chicken Wings onto a greaseproof lined baking tray and bake in the oven for around 35 minutes until crisp. Turn half way through for even cooking. For ultimate crispy skin, you can also place under the grill at the end for around 3 - 5 minutes to really crisp up.

This is by far one of the best way of preparing chicken wings. The spicy sweet sticky sauce is simply amazing and hard to resist. You can always adjust the seasoning, use more or less spiciness depending if you serve this for kids or not. You can serve them as an appetizer alongside a ranch dipping sauce or as a main dish alongside some good fresh salad, potato salad or coleslaw. Enjoy!

Oven BBQ Chicken Wings

chicken

tbsp (30 milliliters) oil

tsp (3 grams) salt

tsp (3 grams) smoked paprika

tsp (2 grams) black pepper

(240 grams) barbecue sauce

(80 grams) honey

tbsp (30 grams) ketchup or hot sauce (sriracha)

Preheat oven to 425F (220C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place an oven rack on top.

Place the chicken wings into a large bowl, add oil and toss to coat. In a small bowl combine salt with garlic powder, smoked paprika and black pepper. Add the mixture over the chicken wings and toss to coat evenly.

Arrange the seasoned chicken wings on the rack in one layer.

Bake for 40-45 minutes depending on their size, flipping once after the first 20 minutes.

While the wings are baking prepare the sauce.

Place the barbecue sauce with honey and hot sauce (your choice) into a small saucepan. Simmer over low heat for 2-3 minutes.

Remove the wings form the oven and brush with barbecue sauce.

Bake for 10-15 minutes until glaze is glossy and caramelized.

Garnish with green onion and serve with your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy.

AIR FRYER KOREAN BBQ CHICKEN WINGS

Tablespoon of Pear Juice

Tablespoon of Apple Juice

Tablespoons of Cornstarch

Start by making the sauce; In a large heavy saucepan, add the Soy sauce, Applesauce, Sugar, Brown sugar, Water, Minced Garlic, Sesame Oil, Rice wine Vinegar, Pear Juice, Lemon Juice, Orange Juice, Sweet Chili Sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, ground ginger, and stir all ingredients together until well blended.  Bring to a boil, and turn heat to low.  Allow sauce to simmer while you're preparing the Wings.

In a medium-size bowl, add the egg, and milk, and whisk together until blended.  In another large bowl, add the flour.  Open the Chicken wings, and place on Parchment paper.  Sprinkle with Garlic salt, Seasoned salt, and Seasoned pepper. Spray the bottom of the Air Fryer basket with Spray Olive Oil.  Dip wings, one at a time, in the egg/milk mixture, and then roll in the flour, and repeat (dip again in egg/milk mixture - then roll in flour).  After the second dip and roll in flour, place the wings in the Air Fryer basket.  Spray the wings with the Spray Olive Oil, and set the temperature to 400 degrees for 10 minutes.  Remove Fryer basket, and turn wings, and spray lightly with Spray Olive oil.  Cook in the Air Fryer for 10 more minutes, checking wings every 3 minutes, making sure they are not getting too browned.  If they appear to be getting too brown, turn the temperature to 375, and continue to cook.  Remove the wings from the basket to a large bowl.

In a small bowl, place the Corn starch, and add enough water to stir the corn starch until smooth.  Add the Corn starch to the sauce, and turn the heat up to medium-high.  Bring the sauce to a boil, stirring constantly, and when the sauce boils and thickens, remove from heat. Stir sauce, and spoon over wings.  Toss wings in sauce to coat.  Place wings back in the air fryer for 1 minute.  Remove wings to a plate, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and serve with additional sauce on the side.   Enjoy!

If the chicken wings are whole, first cut them into flats, drums and wing tips. Discard the wing tips or save them to make chicken broth.To cut them into sections, slice between the joints with a sharp knife on a cutting board.

Preheat the air fryer at 375 degrees for 3 minutes.

Meanwhile, combine paprika, garlic salt, and pepper.

Either sprinkle the seasoning mixture on both sides of the chicken or place the chicken in a sealable plastic bag and sprinkle the seasoning mixture on them and  toss them around to coat.

If your air fryer&#39;s basket rack is nonstick, you don&#39;t have to spray it with oil because you are preheating the rack. If using a metal oven-style air fryer, you can spray it with oil first.

Arrange flats and drums in the air fryer basket in a single layer where they do not touch. Be sure not to crowd them. You will cook them in batches. Air fry at 375 degrees for 10 minutes, turn them over and cook an additional 10 minutes or until golden brown, crispy and the temperature registers 170 degrees on an instant read thermometer placed near the bone.

Brush them with bbq sauce on both sides and cook an additional 1 minute, without turning. Serve with Ranch dressing more bbq sauce.

Baked until crispy and smothered in a zesty BBQ sauce, these wings are the perfect appetizer for a crowd!

BBQ Chicken Wings

Preheat oven to 425°F.

Line a large baking pan with non-stick foil.

Pat wings dry with a paper towel. Toss with flour, baking powder, salt, &amp; pepper.

Place wings on prepared pan and bake 15 minutes. Flip and bake for an additional 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, combine BBQ sauce, sriracha, &amp; garlic in a small bowl. Set aside.

Remove wings from the oven and turn the oven up to 450°F.

Toss wings with BBQ sauce mixture and place back on the baking sheet. Bake 10-15 minutes or until sauce is thickened and browned. Broil 1-2 minutes.

Tbsp Nick’s Poultry Rub

½ Tbsp Baking Powder or Corn Starch

IPA beer

Tbsp kosher salt

brown sugar

Tbsp Butter

If you have whole wings, separate the drums and flats using a knife and then place the wings in a large gallon ziplock.

Put 1 Tbsp of rub, the salt, and 1⁄4 cup of brown sugar in the ziplock, and then pour the beer over top. Seal the ziplock and place in the fridge overnight (brine for at least 12 and up to 24 hours)

Remove wings from the ziplock and place on a foil-lined cookie sheet. Blot dry using paper towels. Place the wings in a large bowl and toss with 2 Tbsp of the rub, and the corn starch.

Place the wings directly on the grill grate and smoke at 150 for 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes adjust your smoker to cook at 350. Cook the wings for an additional 45 minutes.

While the wings are cooking combine 6 ounces of IPA with 1 cup of brown sugar, red hot, and the butter. Simmer over medium heat until sauce reduces by half.

Pull the wings off the grill after 45 minutes and toss in the sauce, and then return to the smoker and let them cook for an additional 15 minutes.

Serve with your favorite dipping sauces or enjoy them plain.

Return the sauced wings to the baking sheet. Bake for an additional 6-8 minutes, until the sauce is sticky and caramelized.

Serve the BBQ chicken wings hot, with extra sauce on the side for dipping if desired. Enjoy!
