Tomato on a Big Mac? What’s a Big Mac without pickles? And even onions.

There are a lot of jerks leaving comments. Sounds great

Low-Carb Big Macs Are Just As Satisfying As The Real Thing

Make mini Big Mac sliders at home with 12 pack dinner rolls (ex: King's Hawaiian) and using Big Mac Sauce or Thousand Island dressing.

Big Mac Sliders

12 pack dinner rolls (, (ex. Kings Hawaiian))

onion (, minced)

6-8 cheese slices

butter (, melted)

tbsp sesame seeds

bread and butter pickle slices

lettuce (, finely chopped)

Big Mac Sauce

In a skillet, brown the ground beef and the onions until the beef is fully cooked and the onions are transparent. Drain.

Preheat oven to 325F.

Keeping the 12 dinner rolls together, cut them lengthwise. Place both halves side by side on a large baking sheet. Bottom half should be cut side facing up and top half should be cut side facing down.

Evenly spread the ground beef mixture all over the bottom half of the dinner rolls. Lay cheese slices on top of the ground beef.

Brush the melted butter on the top of the dinner rolls. Sprinkle with sesame seeds

Bake in the oven for 20 minutes. Cheese should be melted and dinner rolls starting to brown.

Evenly place pickles on top of the melted cheese. Sprinkle the chopped lettuce on top.

Flip the top part of the dinner rolls so the cut side is facing up. Evenly spread the Big Mac Sauce or Thousand Island dressing across the cut side of the top half of the dinner rolls.

Place the top half of the dinner rolls on top of the bottom half. Cut into sliders and serve.

This recipe is AWESOME! And so easy. Doubled it the second time we made it to have more for the week. Just great!

Hubby and I loved this and will be making over again. Really easy and awesome on our burgers and with fries!

Made this for the casserole and immediately made another batch for dipping fries in the next day for dinner. This sauce is so great, so affordable! One of the best things I've made in my kitchen!

Great sauce! Made it last night for sweet potato fry nachos and it was a hit with the whole family

love this sauce. made it lat night for sweet potato nachos and for whole family it was a hit

My daughter just asked me to make that special sauce and make extra so she can have during the week. We love it with our burgers.

It tastes like the real deal and don't skip the French dressing.

Homemade Big Mac Sauce

red wine vinegar (white

sugar

When the real comfort food is calling, this Vegan McDonalds Big Mac is just what you need! It's so easy to make vegan Big Mac sauce and you can use your favourite vegan burger patties to create this ultimate vegan McDonalds burger.

Vegan Big Mac Sauce Recipe

tsp yellow mustard

pickle juice

tsp sweet paprika powder

burger bun

vegan burger patties

lettuce leaves

cheese

soya milk

tomato paste

turmeric powder

mustard powder

tsp tapioca starch

tbsp refined, deodorised coconut oil

Bun Preparation

Start by preparing the buns: cut the middle bun to size and carefully toast them in a non-stick pan until lightly golden (without oil!). Set aside when done.

Patties

Prepare your burger patties according to the packaging instructions.

Cheese

(optional) Prepare your cheese sauce - if you're using ready made vegan cheese, then skip this step. Simply whisk up all ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat. Once the sauce gets hot enough you can tell that the texture begins to change as the tapioca starch is activated. Set aside to cool once you have a thick & gooey consistency.

Sauce

To create the amazing Vegan Big Mac Sauce combine all ingredients with a whisk and set aside, ready to assemble.

Ingredient Prep

Wash the lettuce, finely slice the onion and carefully slice the gherkin.

Assembly

Assembly time! And in order to give the burger the perfect finish, create the perfect Big Mac order, which is (bottom to top): Bottom bun - Big Mac Sauce - Chopped onion - Lettuce - Cheese sauce (alternatively: vegan cheese slice) - Patty - Middle bun - Big Mac Sauce - Chopped onion - Lettuce - Pickles - Patty - Cheese sauce (or slice) - Top bun

Juicy, beefy, and cheesy, these Big Mac sliders taste just like the real thing! Perfect for parties or just for easy lunches and dinners, these sliders are a family-friendly favorite.

tsp pepper

tbsp sweet pickle relish

tsp mustard

tsp smoked paprika

sesame seeds

slider rolls (Hawaiian rolls, or brioche rolls)

yellow onion (finely diced)

oz iceberg lettuce (shredded)

dill pickles (sliced)

Preheat oven to 350˚F.

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until the meat is cooked through and browned. Drain the beef, then return to the skillet, season with salt and pepper and set aside.

To make the sauce, combine the mayonnaise, sweet pickle relish, mustard, vinegar, paprika, garlic powder and onion powder and mix until evenly combined.

Cut the slider rolls in half. Arrange the bottoms in a casserole dish. Place the cheese over the bottoms, then spread the ground beef over the top and sprinkle with onion. Place the roll tops on the rolls then brush with melted butter and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.IMPORTANT: Make sure to put the cheese under the meat, or it will de difficult to take the tops off the rolls to add the veggie toppings. If you accidentally put the cheese on top, I recommend placing the roll tops on a separate baking sheet next to the bottoms so that they can all heat/toast without sticking together.

Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the Big Mac Sliders are heated through and golden. Remove from the tops from the sliders and top with shredded lettuce, Big Mac sauce, and pickles. Replace the tops and serve immediately.

My family devoured these. I smoked them on our smoker and they turned out delish.

These are absolutely delicious! Sauce is a game changer. How do I make them so the meat doesn't fall out? I separated the Hawaiian rolls to make them easier serve but does the bread need to stay together?

This Homemade Big Mac recipe features juicy beef patties, tangy sauce, and fresh toppings for a delicious fast-food favorite made right at home.

Big Mac

mayonnaise.

pickle relish, drained.

ketchup.

sugar.

white vinegar.

hamburger buns, plus additional bottom buns

unsalted butter, softened.

white onion, diced.

Dill pickle chips.

Shredded iceberg lettuce.

80/20 ground beef.

butter, split

vegetable oil, split

yellow mustard.

American cheese.

Make The Spread

In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, relish, ketchup, sugar, and vinegar. Set aside.

Prepare The Patties

Weigh out 8 portions of 3.5 oz of ground beef or eye it out. Gently flatten the patty into a circle to desired thin or thickness, making sure to not mix or mold it too much. Sprinkle with salt and pepper on both sides. Set aside.

Toast The Buns

Brush the insides of the buns with butter. Heat a pan or skillet over medium heat. Lay the buns butter side face down. Take them off the pan when a nice golden brown develops around the edges.

Cook The Patties

Over medium-high heat in a skillet or pan, add 1/2 a tablespoon of butter and 1/2 a tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the patties in, two at a time or more if you have a large grill/skillet. Add a teaspoon of mustard on the raw side and spread evenly. It will take about 2-3 minutes for the patty to get a nice brown crust. Flip over and add a slice of American cheese on top of half the patties you cook since Big Macs only have 1 cheese but 2 patties. Let it cook for about 1 more minute for the cheese to melt. Take off the heat.

Assemble The Big Macs

To the bottom bun, add sauce, lettuce, onion, patty, and cheese. Then add the middle bun, sauce, lettuce, onion, pickles, and the second patty. Add the top bun. Enjoy warm!.
