Chunky Buttermilk Blue Cheese Dressing

mayonnaise (I recommend Duke's)

buttermilk

white wine vinegar

dry mustard

garlic powder

salt

black pepper

Worcestershire sauce

Add the mayo, buttermilk, vinegar, mustard, garlic powder, salt, pepper, Worcestershire, sugar, and MSG to a medium bowl and whisk to combine. Crumble the blue cheese and fold into the dressing. Cover or store in a jar in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld. Add additional salt and pepper to taste before serving. Add additional buttermilk if you&#039;d like a thinner dressing. Will keep for 1 to 2 weeks.

The only thing that can make the classic black and blue burger better is the addition of bacon, so that’s what we did.

Bacon Black & Blue Burger

lb 80/20 ground beef

oz blue cheese

Code 3 Spices Sea Dog

paprika

pepper bacon

ciabatta buns

garlic butter (recipe below)

iceberg lettuce

tomato slices

sour cream

mayonnaise

tsp white wine vinegar

garlic, crushed

Salt and pepper,

unsalted butter

garlic, grated

thyme

To make the blue cheese dressing, combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. Adjust seasoning, as necessary. Store in the refrigerator.

To make the garlic butter, simply combine the ingredients in a small skillet and melt the butter over medium-low heat for about 5 minutes, until the garlic is fragrant, but not yet browned.

Preheat your Yoder Smokers YS640 Pellet Grill to 450ºF, set up for direct grilling, with GrillGrates installed upside down (with the flat surface facing up).

Combine the ground beef and blue cheese in a bowl. Mix to distribute the blue cheese. Divide into 6 portions.

In a small bowl or ramekin, combine three parts Code 3 Spices Sea Dog, one part fresh ground black pepper and one part smoked paprika. Mix well to combine. Season both sides of the burger patties with the blackening seasoning.

Cook the bacon on the flat side of the GrillGrates until crispy. Remove and set aside.

Cook the burgers on the flat side of the GrillGrates until well seared. Then flip and sear the other side. You can move the burgers to an indirect grilling zone to finish cooking, if necessary. Cook to desired doneness. We recommend 150ºF.

While the burgers finish cooking, brush the split ciabatta buns with the garlic butter and toast on the grill grates.

Assemble the burgers. Start with a layer of shredded lettuce on the bottom bun, then a slice of tomato, the burger patty, two slices of bacon, the blue cheese dressing and top it off with the top bun.

Easy Stovetop Chicken Spaghetti

(16-ounce) box penne pasta

Ro*Tel Tomatoes

mushroom soup

garlic power

onion powder

(16-ounce) block Velveeta Cheese,

chicken broth (optional)

Cook the pasta according to the package instructions, drain, and set aside.

While the pasta cooks, heat the cream of mushroom soup, undrained Ro*Tel, garlic powder, and onion powder in a large pot or enameled dutch oven over medium-low heat. Add the Velveeta and stir frequently until melted. Be cautious as the Velveeta can scorch easily - adjust the heat as necessary.

Add the chicken and stir to combine. Add the drained pasta and gently stir to combine. Add chicken broth to thin the sauce if you find it too thick. Serve immediately.

We really enjoyed these scrumptious tea sandwiches. They're slightly salty and creamy from the Bleu cheese spread. The mildly sweet and crisp slices of pear are a tasty contrast to the creamy filling. They are perfect sandwiches for parties or afternoon tea.

Balsamic Grilled Steak Salad With Peaches

skirt steak, fat

c. balsamic vinegar

tbsp. packed light brown sugar

In a large resealable plastic bag or baking dish, combine steak,&nbsp;vinegar, garlic and brown sugar. Marinate 20 minutes at room temperature.

Heat a grill or grill pan over high heat. Remove steak from marinate,&nbsp;coat with vegetable oil, and season generously with salt and pepper.

Grill until desired doneness, 3 minutes per side for medium-rare. Let rest 5 to 10&nbsp;minutes, then slice against the grain.

Make dressing: In a small bowl whisk together olive oil and lemon juice and season with salt and pepper.

Arrange salad: In a large serving bowl, add arugula, peaches, blue cheese or feta, and steak. Drizzle with dressing and gently toss.&nbsp;

Great starting point, better with a few adjustments!
Tip sirloin is a very lean, tougher cut, so it's a good idea to cut the steak into bite-sized pieces after resting, before tossing with the salad.
The recipe as written also comes across very acidic with the fresh peaches and extremely lemon-heavy dressing alongside peppery arugula. The flavor profile can be brought into better balance by going to the juice from 1/2 of a lemon to 1/4th c oil and adding 1 tsp of garlic powder to the dressing, as well as tossing your peach slices on the hot grill for a minute to caramelize some of the sugars. You can bring in a little crunch with a salad topping you like, like chopped walnuts or (what I had on hand) balsamic-infused dried beet strips. 
Overall it's an inexpensive, easy meal to make and my girlfriend and I enjoyed it a lot!

I loved this salad. I grilled the peaches with some olive oil on them and that added great flavor. I left the lemon out of the dressing because there is the tang of the balsamic marinade on the steaks and the sweetness of the peaches. Will definitely make again!

This was delicious!! I really didn't think peaches and steak in a salad would work but it was so soooooooo. Even my 8 yr old ate it. We will make it again.

Really good! Used a flat iron steak instead but still got amazing results! I will definitely be making this again soon.

This was Sooooooo yummy!!  Such a great balance of sweet, salty, and savory.  Who knew peaches would taste so good with steak?  I think the marinade leveled up the flavor so much.  The dressing was a little light on flavor but with everything else in the salad it all worked together.  Will definitely make again!

It was delicious! I went a little heavy with the blue cheese, but it was still delicious.  My husband and I agree it's tasty and the dressing was good.  I'm glad I had a citrus juicer because I was able to get more juice out of the lemon.  I sliced the peaches in half as well to make them easier to eat.  Overall, I really enjoyed it.
