Moist and tasty country-style BBQ boneless ribs in only 30 minutes.  A little pan-searing, coat with BBQ sauce, and finish in the oven. A great easy dinner recipe.

30 Minute BBQ Boneless Pork Ribs

½ pound country style boneless pork ribs (one slab)

salt and pepper to taste (or 7:2:2 seasoning)

BBQ sauce

Preheat oven to 375° convection. Heat a cast-iron skillet or another oven-safe pan with a teaspoon or two of oil over medium-high heat.

Trim one slab (about 1½ lb) country-style boneless pork ribs of fat cap and any silverskin. Deepen the cuts to a little over half the thickness of the slab. Dry well with a paper towel.

Give at a good sprinkle salt and pepper or 7:2:2 seasoning.

Place in the pan and sear for 2-3 minutes per side. Get close to the final color you want when done.

Remove from heat and brush the top (but not the bottom) generously with BBQ sauce of your choice. Be sure to get the slices.

Place in the oven and bake until internal temp of about 145-150°. About 15 minutes for me. Let rest for 5 minutes before cutting.

How to Grill Boneless Country Style Pork Ribs

Optional: Brine first if you have time. 2 cups water, 1 tablespoon table salt, and 1 tablespoon brown sugar for 1-4 hours in the refrigerator. Rinse well and use a rub without salt.

Clean and oil grill grates then preheat grill to a grill surface temperature of 450°-500°.

Trim ribs of any excess fat.  Deepen the cuts that are already in the ribs to about 75% through.

Coat both sides of ribs with a rub of your choice. Be sure to get in the cuts.  Rub in and let rest for 10 minutes while preheating grill.

Place over direct heat and close lid. Flip about every 5 minutes and grill until an internal temperature of about 145°-150°. About 20 minutes depending on grill and the thickness of the meat. Always cook to the final internal temperature and never by time alone.

The last few minutes, coat with sauce on both sides and grill until brown. Let stand for 5 minutes before cutting.

An easy recipe for boneless baked pork ribs, using country style ribs cut from the pork loin. Cooks quickly with your favorite barbecue sauce, and is delicious with a good glass of red wine.

Boneless Baked Pork Ribs Recipe

tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Rinse and pat dry the pork ribs. Place the ribs in a baking dish. Brush the ribs with olive oil and sprinkle the salt over the ribs. Let the ribs sit at room temperature for about 5 minutes.

Place ribs in the oven to bake. After 15 minutes, remove the ribs, and brush with the barbecue sauce. Return to the oven and bake for another 15 minutes.

After 30 minutes total baking time, the pork ribs should be done. Remove from oven, and check for doneness.

Plate the ribs and serve with a good glass of Merlot! Pass extra BBQ sauce at the table.

I haven't seen country style ribs in our supermarket but will check the butcher's next time I go grocery shopping. They look delicious!
