A tasty morning meal these Breakfast Sliders are packed full of meat, eggs and cheese making this an irresistible meal!

Sausage, Egg and Cheese Breakfast Sliders

pork sausage

bacon

eggs

milk

chives

pepper

dinner rolls

cheddar cheese (divided)

Tablespoons butter

maple syrup

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Press the pork sausage onto a parchment lined baking sheet and form it into a rectangle a little larger than the size of your dinner rolls rectangle. It will shrink down while cooking.

Bake this for 25 minutes or until cooked through.

While this is cooking, line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lay the strips of bacon on the sheet. Bake this for 10 minutes or until crispy.

Whisk the eggs together with the milk, chives, and pepper.

Melt 1 Tablespoon of the butter in a skillet and pour in the egg mixture. Stir often until the eggs are just cooked (about 5 minutes).

Keep the dinner rolls attached in one block.  Slice through the whole block.  Place the bottom of the buns onto a 9x13-inch baking pan or glass dish. Set the tops aside.

When the sausage, bacon, and eggs are cooked, we can begin assembly. Sprinkle 2 cups of shredded cheese evenly over the bottom buns.

Place the sausage (as one large block if possible) onto the cheese layer.

Place the scrambled eggs over the sausage.

Crumble the bacon and sprinkle this over the eggs.

Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the bacon.

Place the top layer of bun tops over the layer of cheese.

Melt the remaining 4 Tablespoons of butter and stir in the 2 Tablespoons of maple syrup. Brush this mixture over the buns.

Bake the sliders for 10-15 minutes or until the tops are golden.

Hawaiian buns (or other slider buns)

eggs (scrambled)

pepper jack cheese

American cheese

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Warm large skillet over medium heat. Form sausage into 12 patties, slightly larger than one dinner roll. Add sausage to skillet and cook until completely cooked through.

Meanwhile, using a serrated knife, cut rolls in half lengthwise (without breaking apart). Place bottom half of rolls in 7x10-inch or 9x13-inch baking dish; set tops aside.

Scoop scrambled eggs onto bottom rolls; top with pepper jack. Place sausage on top of pepper jack and top with American cheese. Carefully top with top buns.

Combine melted butter and maple syrup in small bowl. Brush over tops of rolls allowing sauce to drip down sides and into bottom. Use entire amount.

Bake 15-20 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and melted. Serve and enjoy!

To make for tailgating, use a disposable foil pan, or wrap sliders individually in foil to keep warm. Sliders can also be prepared a day ahead and popped in the oven before the big game.

Breakfast Sliders (Cheese and Egg)

Breakfast sliders are a yummy combination of savory ham, scrambled eggs, and melty cheese nestled between warm, buttery Hawaiian rolls. 

Breakfast Sliders

Hawaiian rolls (12 count)

colby jack cheese

cajun seasoning (or seasoned salt)

butter

dijon mustard

worcestershire sauce

everything bagel seasoning

poppy seeds

Melt 2 tablespoons of the butter in a frying pan over medium heat.  While butter is melting, whisk eggs with cajun seasoning in a bowl. Pour whisked eggs into pan and scramble until just cooked through. Set aside.

While eggs are cooking, slice sheet of rolls in half (without separating the buns from one another) and lay the bottom half of the rolls into a lined 9x13&quot; baking pan or sheet pan.

Layer half the cheese, eggs, ham, and then the remaining cheese onto rolls. Cover with the top sheet of buns and carefully cut the sliders apart with a serrated knife.

In the sauce pan, over low heat, whisk together the remaining butter with dijon, worcestershire, everything bagel seasoning, and poppy seeds.  When melted and combined, brush or spoon the butter mixture over the tops of the buns.

Bake the sliders in a preheated 350℉ oven until the cheese is melty and the tops are golden brown (10 - 15 minutes).

How to make breakfast sliders using Hawaiian rolls.

Hawaiian Rolls (12 count)

Precooked sausage patties

Milk

cheese

tbsp Melted butter

Salt and pepper (to taste)

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit.

In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and salt and pepper to taste.

Pour the eggs into a large skillet, and cook over medium heat, scrambling. Once eggs are cooked through, set aside.

Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half to separate the tops or bottoms (keep the rolls together for this).

Place the bottom half into a 9x13 inch pan.

Layer sausage patties onto the bottom Hawaiian rolls. Cut any slices in half that you need to, to fit.

Unwrap cheese and divide the slices into quarters, layering the cheese on top of the sausage patties.

Layer the eggs on top of the cheese evenly. Just place any egg that falls off of the sliders back on top.

Top with the top Hawaiian rolls, and brush the tops with melted butter.

Bake for 15 minutes, until roll tops are golden brown and cheese is melted.
