Chocolate Strawberry Bundt Cake

Dark Chocolate Bundt Cake with Blood Oranges and a Chocolate Ganache icing. Simple, moist, flavorful and absolutely scrumptious!

Dark Chocolate Bundt Cake with Blood Oranges

Chocolate Ganache Icing:

Place oven rack in middle position and preheat oven to 325°F. Butter bundt pan very well (take your time to do this well) then dust with cocoa powder, knocking out excess.

Heat coffee, orange juice, zest, orange liquor, vanilla, butter, in a medium heavy saucepan over moderate heat, whisking, until butter is melted, then whisk in cup of cocoa powder. Remove from heat, then add both kinds of sugar and whisk until dissolved, about 1 minute. Let cool.

While chocolate mixture cools, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.

Whisk together eggs and vanilla in a small bowl, then, temper the eggs by pouring a little of the melted cocoa butter mixture to the eggs, whisking, a tablespoon at a time, to gradually warm them. After about 4 tablespoons, add this into cooling chocolate mixture and whisk well.

Add the chocolate-egg mixutre to the flour mixture and whisk until just combined (batter will be thin and bubbly). Pour batter into the greased and cocoa dusted bundt pan and bake until a wooden pick or skewer inserted in center comes out clean, 40 to 50 minutes.

Cool cake completely in pan on a rack, about 2 hours. Loosen cake from pan using tip of a dinner knife, then invert rack over pan and turn cake out onto rack.

Melt the chocolate chips and milk in a small pot over very low heat. Whisk until combined, then pour over the cake.

To make the syrupy blood orange slices &#8211; very thinly slice one blood orange. Place in a pot with one cup water and simmer 20 minutes, until water has reduced to about ¼ cup and orange peel becomes tender. Add in sugar, and stir until dissolved. Squeeze the juice of the other orange( I used ½) into the mix, and simmer gently for a couple minutes. Taste, add more sugar if you want. Let this cool. Spoon over the cake after cutting into it, topping with a blood orange slice.

I made this for my husband's birthday. It is the BEST chocolate bundt cake recipe! Super easy to make, and super moist!  I am lucky enough to have blood oranges in my yard, and the orange taste is sublime. My daughter doesn't like orange and chocolate. If  I omit the orange juice and zest, do you think I need any other or additional liquid? Thanks again for this GREAT recipe :)

I made this Sour Cream Blueberry Bundt Cake over the weekend and couldn't wait to share the recipe! It's CRAZY moist, soft and loaded with fresh blueberries!

Sour Cream Blueberry Bundt Cake

sour cream

blueberries (fresh or frozen and thawed)

In the bowl of your stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, mix the butter and sugar together on medium speed for 2 minutes, until light and fluffy. Add in eggs, vanilla, sour cream, salt, and baking powder, and mix for an additional minute until smooth, scraping the sides of the bowl as necessary.

Turn mixer to low and mix until the flour until just combined.

Coat a 9-10 inch bundt pan with baking spray. Spread the cake batter in the pan and bake for 45-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 15 minutes and then invert the pan onto a wire rack to cool completely.

In a medium bowl whisk together the butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, and 1 tablespoon of milk. Add an additional tablespoon of milk if you would like a thinner icing.

Drizzle the icing on the cake when mostly cooled.

Moist Vanilla Bundt Cake

all purpose flour

tsp baking soda

tsp salt

butter (at room temperature)

eggs (at room temperature)

tsp vanilla extract

tsp almond extract

buttermilk (at room temperature)

sour cream (at room temperature)

1/2cup + 2 tbsp vegetable oil (at room temperature)

Preheat the oven to 350F then grease a 12 cup bundt cake pan using shortening, butter, or nonstick spray. Flour the pan, making sure to tap out excess flour then set aside.

In a medium bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt together and set aside

In another bowl or large measuring cup, mix the buttermilk, sourcream, and oil together and set asdie.

In a mixing bowl, using the paddle attachment, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar on medium speed until light and fluffy. Add in the vanilla extract, almond extract, and one egg at a time, making sure that it&#39;s fully incorporated before adding the next one. Scrape the bowl as you go.

Lower the mixer speed to low, add in 1/3 of the flour mixture and 1/3 of the buttermilk mixture and mix until combined. Repeat this process 2 more times, making sure to scrape the bowl as you go. Mix just until the flour mixture disappears to avoid overmixing the batter.

Pour the batter into the prepared bundt cake pan, spread the batter evenly, and bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes. My cake took 50 minutes. You can check for doneness by inserting a wooden skewer in the center, if it comes out clean the cake is ready if not, bake it for a little longer.

Let the cake cool down for 20 minutes before flipping it onto a cooling rack to cool down completely before slicing into it.

Almond Amaretto Bundt Cake

(168 grams) unsalted butter, room temperature

(310 grams) sugar

(173 grams) sour cream

(325 grams) all purpose flour

Preheat oven to 350°F (176°C) and prepare a 10-14 cup bundt pan with non-stick baking spray.

. In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light in color and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes. Do not skimp on the creaming time.

. Add sour cream and almond extract and mix until well combined.

. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing until just combined after each. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed to be sure all ingredients are well incorporated.

. Combine dry ingredients in a separate bowl, then combine the milk and amaretto in a small measuring cup.

. Add half of the dry ingredients to the batter and mix until well combined. Add the amaretto mixture and mix until well combined. Add remaining dry ingredients and mix until well combined. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed to be sure all ingredients are well incorporated.

. Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan and bake for about 38-42 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few crumbs.

. Remove the cakes from the oven and allow to cool for about 10 minutes, then remove to a cooling rack to cool completely.

. To make the icing, combine all the icing ingredients except for the powdered sugar in a small sauce pan.

0. Heat on low until sugar is melted, then turn heat to medium to bring to a boil.

1. Boil for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, then remove from heat and immediately pour into a heat-proof glass bowl.

2. Whisk in the powdered sugar and allow to cool slightly and thicken. If you find your icing to be a little thick, just add a touch more water to thin it back out. If it’s too thin, add a little more powdered sugar.

Drizzle the icing over the cake while the icing is still a little warm. It will be too firm to pour and get a nice drizzle if it cools completely. Top the cake with some sliced almonds, if desired.

Love this cake!!  Super easy to make and fell right out of the pan, no sticking. I added more powdered sugar to the frosting than it called for because I like a viscous glaze that drips slowly down the cake. It actually appeared whiter after it dried but that could also be due to the additional powdered sugar. 

I toasted some raw almond slices a bit before sprinkling them on top. Not only does this cake look beautiful, the fragrant almond scent along with the delicious taste and texture of the cake make it a real winner!!

A soft, moist amaretto and almond cake that’s full of flavor!

Bold gingerbread cake studded with chunks of pear and baked in bundt form. What could be better than this super-moist, in-your-face cake? The (also vegan) caramel sauce drizzled on top, of course!

Vegan Gingerbread Pear Bundt Cake with Caramel Sauce

coconut oil (melted +

whole wheat pastry flour

ginger

nutmeg

cloves

molasses (not blackstrap)

apple cider vinegar

vanilla extract

full-fat coconut milk

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease bundt pan with a little coconut oil - 1 or 2 teaspoons - and set aside.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, ginger, nutmeg and cloves.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the melted coconut oil, water, brown sugar, molasses, vinegar and vanilla.

Make a well in the dry ingredients and pour in the wet ingredients. Use a whisk to mix the batter together just until combined. The batter will be rather loose and wet. Fold in the pears.

Pour batter into the bundt pan and bake until the cake begins to pull away from the edges slightly and a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out nearly dry, 45 to 60 minutes.

Let cool for 5 minutes then use a knife to carefully loosen any stuck sides. Invert cake over a wire rack and lift off the pan. Let cake cool completely.

Carefully transfer cooled cake to platter or cake plate and dust with powdered sugar, if desired.

While the cake cools, make the caramel sauce. In a small bowl, whisk together the coconut milk, vanilla and salt. Set aside.

Add the sugar and water to a medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Stir just to combine, but do not stir after that! Allow mixture to come to a boil and watch it carefully. After about 6 minutes, the mixture will start to turn golden, then light brown, and it will smell like caramel. As soon as it has turned brown, slowly pour in the coconut milk mixture. The caramel will bubble enthusiastically at first. If the sugar hardens around the whisk, don't worry, this is normal - just keep stirring and it will dissolve. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until the caramel sauce has thickened, about 5 minutes.

Slice cake and put on plates. Drizzle individual servings with the caramel sauce. Serve.

This is not your ordinary carrot cake recipe. Carrot Bundt Cake is wrapped around a cheesecake filling and covered with cream cheese frosting. It makes an impressive centerpiece for any dessert table!

Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Spray a 12 cup bundt pan generously with baking spray. Set aside.

In a large bowl, combined all the ingredients for the cake, mixing until well combined. Batter will be very thick! Set aside.

For the filling, beat cream cheese with sugar, vanilla and egg until smooth and creamy. Set aside.

To assemble, fill bottom of sprayed bundt pan with about 3/4 of the batter. Spoon the cream cheese into the pan, being careful not to let it touch the sides of the pan. Spoon the remaining batter over the cream cheese layer. It's okay if it doesn't cover completely.

Bake cake in a preheated oven for 60-65 minutes. Cake will be browned and will pull away from the pan when done. Remove from oven and cool for 5-10 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack.&nbsp;Cool completely before frosting.

For the frosting, beat cream cheese, milk and powdered sugar together until smooth and creamy. Pour frosting into a large ziploc bag and snip off the corner. Pipe onto cake, generously. Sprinkle immediately with chopped pecans. ENJOY!

This Blueberry Pancake Bundt Cake is moist, fluffy, and bursting with juicy blueberries! It&#039;s made with pancake mix for a quick and easy dessert or breakfast!

Blueberry Pancake Bundt Cake

Pre-heat oven to 350ºF (180ºC). Grease a 9-inch bundt pan generously with oil and dust with flour.  This will prevent the cake from sticking.

To a medium mixing bowl, mix together buttermilk, eggs, oil, sugar, lemon zest, and vanilla extract (if using).

To a small bowl, mix the flour with baking soda and cinnamon (if using).

Add dry ingredients into the wet and mix together just until combined. Don&#39;t overmix! Stir in the blueberries.

Pour the mixture into the greased pan and bake for 45-50 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean. If the cake is getting very brown on the top and is still not cooked at the bottom, cover it with aluminum foil. I find that in the last 10 minutes I always have to do that.

When ready, take the cake out of the oven and let it cool in the pan for exactly 10 minutes (set a timer). Use a table knife to gently push the cake away from the sides of the pan. Then place a wire cooling rack (or a plate) over the base of the cake and invert the pan to release. Let it cool completely before icing and serving.
