Candy Grapes

20-25 grapes (washed and completely dried)

white sugar

water

corn syrup

white gel food coloring (Find it here)

flavored oil

Sprinkles for decorating ((optional))

Wash your grapes thoroughly by using a fruit wash or just soaking them in water with a splash of white vinegar for about 5 minutes. Rinse them well and dry completely.

Insert a skewer into each grape and set them aside.

In a sauce pan, combine the sugar, water, and corn syrup and stir to combine.

Set the pot over medium to medium/high heat and insert the candy thermometer. The thermometer should not touch the bottom of the pan but just have the tip in the sugar mixture. Cook (not stirring) until the thermometer reaches 300°.

As soon as the mixture reaches 300°, remove the pot from the heat. Stir in a few drops of the white coloring and your flavoring (I use an entire .125 ounce mini bottle of flavoring or about 2 teaspoons)

Then add in 3-4 drops of your gel colors and swirl with a spoon or skewer. You could also do one solid color or more than 2 colors..it&#39;s totally up to you!

Dip each skewered grape into the mixture while you spin the grape to coat it fully. Let the excess drip off and roll in sprinkles if desired.

Place the coated grapes on a sheet of parchment paper or silicon mat to dry for about 15 minutes. You could also place them in the fridge for about 10 minutes to get fully hardened.

Caramel Grapes are a new and exciting way to enjoy this popular fruit! The idea for candied grapes is simple: take a bunch of grapes, dip them in melted caramel &amp; candy melts, cover with pecans and let them cool. YUM!

11 oz Kraft Candy Caramels

TBSP Milk

Caramel: Unwrap caramels and place in a microwave safe bowl. Add 1 TBSP milk and microwave for 1:30. Let sit for an additional 2 minutes. Stir gently, then microwave in 30 second intervals, letting caramel sit 1 minute and stirring between intervals, until caramel is smooth.

Prep: You need to wash and remove stems from about 20 grapes. Then insert a toothpick into each grape, place on a parchment covered baking sheet.

Coat: Dip grapes gently into your melted caramel and tap off the excess. Set down gently onto a piece of parchment paper. (If caramel drips off, scrape caramel back into bowl and let cool for 5 minutes, then try again.)

Let caramel harden. Remove the toothpicks from each grape.

Candy coating: Place your candy melts in the microwave, for 45 seconds at a time, until smooth and melted. Stir throughout the melting process.

Drop one grape at a time in your melted chocolate. Coat completely and then remove with a fork. Shaking off any excess.

Chill: Place down gently onto your parchment paper. Sprinkle with pecans. Place in the freezer for 10 to 15 minutes.

Serve and enjoy! It tastes just like a candy apple, only bite size.

lemon juice (from about 1 lemon)

(3 oz) box pineapple Jell-O

(3 oz) box lime Jell-O

(3 oz) box cherry Jell-O

(3 oz) box orange Jell-O

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat and set aside.

Remove your washed and dried grapes from their stems and add them to a large mixing bowl.

Pour fresh lemon juice onto the grapes, then toss to coat in the lemon juice.

Add each Jell-O mix packet to their own bowl or Ziploc bag, then evenly distribute the grapes among the different flavors.

Shake to coat the grapes completely, then transfer them to your prepared baking sheet and freeze for at least 2 hours before enjoying.
