Apple Snickers Cheesecake Trifle

angel food cake,

packages cream cheese, softened

brown sugar

caramel ice cream topping

Crunch Pak mixed apples, diced (6 cups)

bag Snickers baking bites, quartered

Set aside 2 Tablespoons of the candy bar...

Set aside 2 Tablespoons of the candy bar pieces.

Beat the cream cheese and sugar until creamy....

Beat the cream cheese and sugar until creamy. Add 1/2 cup caramel topping and beat again.

Fold 2 cups of Cool Whip into the...

Fold 2 cups of Cool Whip into the cream cheese mixture gently.

Place half the cake cubes in the bottom...

Place half the cake cubes in the bottom of the trifle bowl. Place 3 cups of the diced apples on top of the cake. Arrange the ones on the sides so that the apple peels are showing on the outside of the bowl, if desired.

Drizzle 2 Tablespoons caramel topping over the apples....

Drizzle 2 Tablespoons caramel topping over the apples. Sprinkle half of the chopped candy bars on top of the apples.

Spread half the cheesecake mixture on top of...

Spread half the cheesecake mixture on top of the apples and candy bars.

Repeat the layers again with the remaining ingredients...

Repeat the layers again with the remaining ingredients ending with the cheesecake.

Spoon the remaining Cool Whip on top of...

Spoon the remaining Cool Whip on top of the cheesecake and drizzle with caramel. Top with the reserved candy bar pieces.

Better Than Sex Trifle Dessert - Just slay into all those luscious layers of dark chocolate cake drenched in sweetened condensed milk, salted caramel sauce, buttery Heath toffee bits and tons of fluffy whipped cream.  Feeds a crowd for any occasion.  Makes everyone happy &amp; satisfied, but it&#x27;s so addicting, you might have to give in and go another round!  Let&#x27;s toast to the New Year &amp; party!

Better Than Sex Trifle Dessert

unsalted butter

unsweetened (cocoa powder)

water

espresso powder

all-purpose flour flour

sugar

baking soda

salt

eggs (room temperature)

buttermilk (or milk of choice)

vanilla extract

14 oz Sweetened Condensed Milk

unsalted butter (room temperature, cut in chunks)

heavy cream (room temperature)

flaky sea salt

16-20 oz whipped cream sugar

3-5 Heath Bars

Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees F.  Line a 9 x 13 inch pan with parchment paper and spray with non-stick cooking spray.  Set aside.

Home-made Version: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking soda and salt, set aside.

Place the butter, cocoa powder, water, and espresso powder in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat stirring until smooth and the cocoa has dissolved.  Pour the chocolate mixture over the dry ingredients and whisk until smooth.

Add the buttermilk, vanilla and eggs and whisk until completely combined.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 22-25 minutes, or until the top of the cake springs back after being gently pressed with a fingertip. Cool slightly and cut into cake one inch squares.

Chocolate Sheet Cake or 1 Chocolate Cake Mix + Ingredients for 9x13 sheet pan prepared as directed on package.

Pour the sweetened condensed milk over the cake and place cake in fridge to prepare the whipped cream and caramel if making from scratch.

Sweetened Condensed Milk Layer

Place the sugar in a medium sized heavy bottom saucepan. Heat on medium, stirring constantly. The sugar will start to form clumps, then begin to melt. Cook until is it amber in color, then remove from the heat and immediately add all of the butter. Be careful as the caramel will bubble rapidly. Once the butter is incorporated, add the cream and stir well. Stir in the salt, and pour into a glass jar until ready to use.

Home-made Salted Caramel Sauce or use Pre-made Salted Caramel Sauce

To make fresh whipped topping: Add 4-5 heavy whipping cream and powdered sugar and beat on medium for 1 minute. Increase speed to medium high and continue beating until stiff peaks form approx 5 mins in all. Don’t overbeat, or you’ll end up with lumpy butter.

16 - 20 oz Whipped cream or 4-5 cups heavy whipping cream + 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Chop up Heath bars, set aside

Heath Bar Layer

Time to layer, then layer again...

Place and layer ½ of drenched sweetened condensed milk chocolate cake cubes into the bottom of trifle bowl.

Drizzle some salted caramel over cake cubes.

Sprinkle some Heath Bar bits over caramel/cake cubes.

Spoon or pipe a whipped cream layer on top of cake cubes, then repeat layers one more time, then pipe a whipped cream border if you wish.  Add some more salted caramel sauce and heath bits. The more the merrier!

Refrigerate overnight or up to 6 hours.  Let&#x27;s Party!

Ready to assemble

Monster cookie bars with the classic combination of peanut butter, oats, and M&amp;Ms, plus a layer of fudge running through the center!

Fudge Ripple Monster Cookie Bars

all-purpose flour

oats

salted butter,

peanut butter

M&Ms

condensed milk

salted butter

chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line the bottom and sides of an 8x8-inch baking pan with aluminum foil, leaving an overhang on all sides. Set aside.

Make the Bars: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, oats and baking soda.

Using an electric mixer, beat the butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 2 to 3 minutes. Add the peanut butter, egg, and vanilla one after the other, mixing well after each addition. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed. Reduce the mixer speed to low and gradually add the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.

Press two-thirds of the dough evenly into the prepared baking pan. Stir the M&amp;Ms into the remaining dough. Set aside while you make the fudge ripple filling.

Make the Fudge Ripple Filling: In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the sweetened condensed milk, butter and chocolate chips. Stir until the chocolate chips are melted and the mixture is smooth. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla. Pour the fudge over the bottom layer of dough.

Mold the remaining dough containing the M&amp;Ms into flat pieces and layer on top of the fudge filling. You won't have enough dough to make one single layer, so some of the filling will be exposed.

Bake for 25 minutes, or until the top is lightly browned. Allow to cool completely. Lift the foil out of the pan using the overhang on the sides and cut into bars. Store in an airtight container at room temperature or in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

Homemade Take 5 Candy Bars - Gluten Free

gluten-free mini-twist pretzels

Rolos Candies

oz milk chocolate bar

Preheat oven to 250°.

Spread about 1 teaspoon of crunchy peanut butter on each pretzel.

Line mini muffin tin with liners. &nbsp;Place a Rolo in each cup. Bake 5 min to soften the Rolos.

Press a peanut butter coated pretzel down onto each of the melted rolos, pushing slightly to spread the rolo.

Melt the milk chocolate in microwave or double boiler. &nbsp;Drizzle milk chocolate over each cup to cover the tops.

Allow the chocolate to set before removing from the muffin tin. &nbsp;Store in an airtight container.

Delicious snack bars with a crunchy shortbread base, a creamy hazelnut layer, and a thin chocolate coating. You won&#39;t believe these candy bars are vegan and gluten-free!

Healthier Chocolate Candy Bars (Vegan + GF)

oat flour

almond butter

maple syrup

tbsp melted coconut oil ((or cocoa butter))

tsp vanilla extract

hazelnut butter

tbsp tahini

cocoa butter

sea salt

chocolate

cocoa butter ((optional, yields a thinner coating))

Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Line the bottom of a 4x7-inch baking dish with parchment paper.

Combine the oat flour, almond butter, maple syrup, coconut oil, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl. Mix until you get a slightly crumbly dough. Transfer to the prepared baking dish and press it down firmly using the bottom of a glass.

Bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool completely and keep the shortbread in the baking dish.

Shortbread

Whisk together the hazelnut butter, maple syrup, and tahini In a small bowl. Slowly pour in the melted cocoa butter and whisk gently until fully incorporated. Stir in the salt.

Pour over the shortbread base and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until the hazelnut layer is firmer. You can speed up the process by placing the baking dish in the freezer.

Run a knife around the edges of the baking dish. Remove the preparation from the baking dish and slice into 8 thin bars.

Melt the dark chocolate with the cocoa butter over a double boiler. Using a dipping tool, dip each bar into the melted chocolate. Place the dipped bars on a silpat or parchment paper and refrigerate 10 minutes, or let cool at room temperature to set the chocolate.

You can then wrap each bar individually with plastic film and keep them at room temperature for up to 2 weeks. For a firmer hazelnut layer, keep the bars in the refrigerator.

Creamy Hazelnut Layer

I made these and they were great, the taste is perfect. my only problem was the size of the 4x7 (maybe I did something wrong).  If I do this again I'll use a larger pan as it was using the 4x7 they were not at all like your picture much bigger and way to thick so I cut them into squares.  As I said I liked the taste and after coating the squares they look good.
