I could eat this heavenly bowl every day! This is like a salad, do whatever amounts you like! But if you want to build the same bowl with the same macros, my amounts are below.

Copy Cat Cava Mediterranean Grain Bowl

brown rice (70 g)- (I always use the frozen brown rice from Trader Joe’s)

75 g arugula (favorite bagged arugula is Trader Joe’s)

g grilled Greek Chicken

Greek Salsa

g tzatziki (or use Trader Joe’s tzatziki or avocado tzatziki!)

g easy pickled red onion

cabbage

g of fat-free feta (Trader Joe’s sells one!)

mint

lemon

Toss brown rice and arugula in a large bowl.

Top with leftover grilled Greek Chicken, Greek Salsa, tzatziki, hummus, pickled onion and cabbage.

Add extra feta, mint, and a squeeze of lemon and close your eyes and dream that you&#8217;re at Cava.

Gates Otsuji of the bar Le Bain at the Standard Hotel in New York created this refined, but lively spritzer. It riffs on the popular Aperol spritz, but, Otsuji notes, “the addition of vodka raises the A.B.V. of the cocktail just enough to take it from aperitif to anytime, and the orange juice adds some body to the texture."

In a shaker, combine simple syrup, orange juice, Aperol and vodka. Add ice, cap the shaker and shake briefly. Strain the ingredients into a collins glass over fresh ice, and top with cava. Squeeze two or three lemon wedges into the drink.

To make a mimosa, add 2 ounces juice and 1 ounce of orange liqueur to a champagne flute. Top with champagne.

Hoy os presentamos una de esas recetas sencillas, ricas y que suelen gustar a todo el mundo, pero con un toque un poquito distinto. Hemos hecho una rica salsa de tomate con un ligero toque picante, que se puede quitar si hay niños y con un inconfundible sabor de cava. O sea una delicia que espero que os guste.

Mejillones al cava

kg de mejillones

tomates grandes

cebolleta grande o 2 medianas

cayena

dientes de ajo

piel de limón

hojas de laurel

cucharilla de azúcar

copas de cava seco

pimienta en grano

perejil

aceite

Comenzamos limpiando bien de barbas los mejillones. Los pondremos en una olla con medio vaso de agua, la piel del limón y la hoja de laurel. Tapamos y dejamos que se abran al vapor, durante unos diez minutos más o menos o hasta que estén abiertos. Colamos y reservamos el caldo.

Picamos la cebolla en juliana gruesa y el tomate lo escaldaremos unos segundos en agua hirviendo para pelarlos, luego los cortamos en dados.

En una sartén con un buen chorro de aceite pochamos la cebolla y cuando esté bien blanda añadimos el ajo laminado.

Dejamos dorar un par de minutos y añadimos la hoja de laurel y el tomate cortado. Dejamos que se haga todo junto un minuto y agregamos la cucharada de azúcar y un poquito de sal y pimienta al gusto.

Incorporamos también la cayena cortada en trozos pequeños y rehogamos unos segundos antes de añadir las copas de cava y medio vaso del caldo donde hemos cocido los mejillones. Dejamos que se haga la salsa a fuego bajo durante cinco minutos removiendo de vez en cuando.

En una fuente colocamos los mejillones abiertos sin la cáscara superior y salseamos por encima. Espolvoreamos con un poco de perejil y servimos, aunque también están muy buenos fríos.

Una copa del mismo cava que hemos utilizado para cocinar sería el maridaje perfecto. También un blanco seco por ejemplo un Palomino fino de Andalucía le viene ni que pintado.

Małże oczyszczamy przy pomocy nożyka, usuwając wszystkie narośle i płuczemy pod bieżącą wodą.

Małże powinny być zamknięte. Jeśli muszla lekko się otwiera, uderzamy nią o blat stołu. Te małże, które się zamkną, są świeży i można je wykorzystać. Pozostałe wyrzucamy.
