I love chai tea and since I've started making my own I prefer mine over all the others. You can adjust the spices to suit your taste, so use this recipe as a stepping stone to your perfect chai!

I love to start my day with a chai tea, iced in the summer and hot in the winter. It’s cheaper to make your own Instant Pot chai tea concentrate than it is to buy just one serving at your local coffee shop. Plus you can make yours with black tea, green tea, decaf tea, or roobios.

Best Instant Pot Chai Tea Concentrate & Easy Too!

This is the exact recipe used at Starbucks for a grande iced latte which is 16 oz.

Starbucks Iced Chai Latte

chai concentrate (3:1 concentrate)

2% milk

Bread Pudding With Chai Caramel Sauce

loaf Brioche or Challah bread

Oregon Chai Tea Latte Concentrate

brown sugar

vanilla bean paste

Grease a 8 small 6 - 8 ounce oven safe bowls or ramekins with butter. Set aside.

Heat your oven to 325F.

Cut bread into 1 inch cubes.

Arrange the bread in a single layer on 2 wire cooling racks set over rimmed baking sheets.

Bake until dry and lightly golden for about 25 minutes, rotating pans and bread halfway through.

Allow the bread cubes to cool completely for about 20 minutes.

Whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy whipping cream, Oregon Chai Tea Latte Concentrate, brown sugar, vanilla bean paste, and salt in a large mixing bowl.

Toss in the bread cubes and gently fold until well combined.

Equally divide the bread among the 8 ramekins.

Spoon any custard remaining in the bowl over each of the ramekins (approximately 1 tablespoon per).

Let sit for 30 minutes.

Place ramekins on a baking sheet and bake in the oven for about 35 minutes until the tops are deep golden brown.

Bread Pudding

Whisk together the 1/4 cup Oregon Chai Tea Latte Concentrate, heavy whipping cream, brown sugar, and butter in a small saucepan.

Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until it comes to a boil.

Boil for 5-6 minutes until the caramel thickens.

Allow to cool slightly.

Remove bread pudding from oven, drizzle caramel sauce over top, and serve warm.

Chai Caramel Sauce

Chai tea with almond milk and maple syrup is delicious even without the bubbles. The bubbles are fun, unique and quirky. Kids love them! Makes 3 (8-ounce) servings of tea, plus enough bubbles for a second (3-cup) batch.

Maple Chai Bubble Tea

¼ cup small dried tapioca pearls, ((not quick cooking))

unsulphured molasses

Chai black tea bags, ((see note))

almond milk

maple syrup, (amount depending on your sweet tooth)

Bring water and tapioca pearls to a boil, stirring occasionally. When the water boils, reduce the heat and simmer 8 to 10 minutes, again, stirring every few minutes.

Turn off the heat and let stand, covered, another 8 to 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, in a saucepan over low flame, mix the water and molasses, stirring to make a brown syrup. Set aside.

Put the cooked tapioca pearls in a sieve to drain. The liquid will be slightly gelatinous and won’t flow like water, not to worry, just drain most of the liquid off.

Drop the translucent bubbles into the molasses syrup. On the lowest possible flame, heat the syrup and the bubbles.

Bite into a few pearls to test doneness. You want your tooth to find them soft, yet with some chewy texture. If you think they need more time to soften, let them barely simmer. If you determine they are perfect, remove from the heat. Either way, in about 15 minutes the little drops will become brown bubbles the color of the molasses syrup.

Make the bubbles:

Bring the water to a boil. Add the tea bags and let steep 15 minutes. The tea should be strong, but not with bitter flavor. Remove the tea bags. When the tea has cooled, add the milk.

Stir in the lesser amount of maple syrup. Taste. If you prefer your tea sweeter like I do, stir in more maple syrup. Chill until cold.

To chill the milk tea quickly, use an ice bath: Fill a large bowl with ice and nest the tea container in it. Stir occasionally until cold. This takes about 5 minutes.

Brew the tea:

Drop 3 tablespoons or more of the brown bubbles in a clear glass. Pour cold milk tea over the bubbles. Serve with straws.

Chai Tea Recipe with Bourbon

black tea bags

green cardamom pods (crushed)

allspice berries (crushed)

star anise

nutmeg

ginger

vanilla extract

vanilla almond milk

honey

bourbon

In a medium saucepan, combine the water, tea bags, spices, ginger, and vanilla. Bring to a boil over medium/high heat and then reduce to a simmer.

Stir in the almond milk and honey, whisking to combine.

Remove from the heat and allow to sit for 10 minutes to steep.

Strain through a fine mesh sieve to remove the bulk spices and tea bags, making sure only the liquid remains.

Pour into a heat proof serving pitcher and stir in the bourbon.

Easy Chai Latte

Heat the milk in a small saucepan over medium heat. Once it begins to simmer, turn off the heat and add the tea bags (I snip any labels off the tea bags so they can fully immerse). Let the tea steep for 4 to 5 minutes, then remove the tea bags with a slotted spoon.

Whisk

Turn the heat back up to medium heat, and add the cinnamon, ginger, cloves, cardamom, vanilla, and maple syrup. Whisk everything together, until the chai tea is hot.

Pour

Pour the tea into mugs and if you&#39;d like, top with extra milk foam and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
