This easy cheesy asparagus recipe takes asparagus to the next level! Everyone's going to love this simple and flavorful 20 minute side dish.

Easy Cheesy Asparagus

asparagus (ends trimmed)

garlic powder

Salt & pepper (to taste)

olive oil

mozzarella

parmesan cheese

Preheat oven to 425F. Move the rack to the middle position and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Grate your parmesan (and mozzarella if you didn't buy a pre-shredded one). Trim the asparagus ends.

Place the asparagus on the baking sheet. Add the garlic powder, salt &amp; pepper, and olive oil. Toss until coated. Arrange the asparagus in a mostly single layer (you want the asparagus spears to touch/overlap slightly).&nbsp;

Sprinkle the mozzarella over the asparagus. I tend to concentrate it around the middle like in the photos. Sprinkle the parmesan over top of the mozza.

Roast the asparagus for 12-15 minutes or until it's cooked through and the cheese is nice and melty. Optional: broil for a couple of minutes to brown the cheese up (watch it carefully). Serve immediately.&nbsp;

I made this last night for my grown kids. We had it with t-bones and mashed potatos. It was absolutely delicious. I don't think I had two lbs of asparagus... it was just one bundle and I was going to cut the recipe in half but in the end I didnt... the cream and cheese just baked in to the asparagus which was perfectly tender. I used quite a bit of red pepper on top so you had a nice bite to offset all the cheese. This was so good everyone wanted more... so I am adding to Thanksgiving dinner!

Made this for my family last night and they are OBSESSED. I did not stack the asparagus on top of each other but rather laid them flat in a baking dish and it worked fine. We will absolutely be making again.

Easy peasy! Delicious, too! I had an idea. You know those onions you put on top of the green bean casserole? The next time I make this, I may add those on top towards the end of the baking time & let them get a little crispy! What say you?

This cheesy baked asparagus is hands down my new favorite keto side dish. It&#039;s easy, delicious, and takes less than 20 minutes to make.

Ham and Cheese Baked Asparagus

asparagus spears

avocado oil

garlic (minced)

Salt and pepper

cheddar cheese, grated

ham (diced)

Preheat the oven to 400F. Wash and trim the woody ends from the asparagus. Pat dry well.

Lay the asparagus on a rimmed baking sheet and drizzle with the oil. Sprinkle with the salt and pepper and toss to combine, then spread out into a single layer.

Sprinkle with the minced garlic and bake 8 minutes, until the asparagus is tender and bright green.

Remove from the oven and turn on the broiler. Sprinkle the aspargus with the grated cheeses and diced ham.

Return to the oven on the second highest rack position and broil 2 to 4 minutes, until the cheese is melted and beginning to brown.

Cheesy Baked Asparagus with Gruyere cheese, Garlic, and Bacon

asparagus

Gruyere cheese ((or Parmesan), shredded)

bacon ((cooked and chopped))

Preheat oven to 400 F.

Trim asparagus ends. Place asparagus in a medium-size casserole dish, drizzle with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, season with salt and pepper. Top with minced garlic.

Bake, uncovered, in the preheated oven at 400 F for 10 minutes.  Remove from the oven.

Sprinkle half of shredded Gruyere cheese (or Parmesan) all over asparagus.  Then, add chopped cooked bacon.  Top with the remaining half of shredded cheese.

Bake for 10 more minutes, uncovered at 400 F.  Serve immediately while the cheese is nice and melty!

This Cheesy Baked Asparagus with Prosciutto recipe is an easy and delicious side dish that is perfect for any occasion!

Cheesy Baked Asparagus with Prosciutto Recipe

asparagus; woody ends

Tablespoon minced garlic

mozzarella cheese

prosciutto (thinly sliced)

Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.

Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and lightly grease with nonstick cooking oil.

Wrap a slice of prosciutto around each asparagus spear.

In a small bowl mix together the olive oil, garlic, and pepper. Drizzle the mixture over the wrapped asparagus and toss to coat evenly.

Bake for 10-12 minutes until the asparagus starts to get tender.

Take the baking sheet out of the oven, move the asparagus spears close together so there are little to no gaps, and top with the mozzarella cheese.

Place the baking sheet back in the oven for 4-5 minutes, or until cheese is melted and slightly toasted.

Serve and enjoy!
