Christmas Truffles are not only adorable, but they are also so good! With sprinkles inside and out this treat can&#x27;t get any more festive!

Christmas Truffles

white cake mix

all purpose flour

sugar

butter (melted)

vanilla

milk

Christmas sprinkles

white chocolate chips (or vanilla almond bark)

In a large bowl, whisk cake mix, flour, and sugar. Stir in melted butter, vanilla, milk, and sprinkles. The mixture should be moist and be able to hold its shape easily when formed.

Using a cookie scoop, form mixture into even balls and refrigerate 20-30 minutes.

In the meantime, melt chocolate in a double boiler or slowly in the microwave. Using a fork, drop one of the cake batter truffles into the chocolate and roll around to coat. Tap off the excess gently and transfer to a cookie sheet lined with wax paper.

Top with more sprinkles, if desired.

Red Velvet Cheesecake Bites

Made these according to the recipe.  Left them in the freezer overnight, trust me they were frozen.  Rolled them in the cupcake crumbs and they were absolutely delicious.  Everyone that had them on Christmas Day raved about them.

Super excited to make these with my family. Quick, rather cheap and sounds wonderful! Now, typically I ignore rudeness, however this time i felt as tho I'm gonna give my opinion! This is simply a recipe, there isn't any need for ugly/rude remarks! Gosh...Kids these day's are rather rude and bullies, seemingly it makes since when adults(who are parents) have kid's just like them! Any how...I appreciate the recipe, as it involves my husband's 2 favorite desserts combined in ONE.

Not sure what went wrong, but mine came out to soft.  And after I froze them the cake did not adhere very well.

I followed the directions to the letter. They turned out perfect. I don't think that you have to adjust the recipe.

Made these for my husband and he loved them. This is a go to snack. For the house or even a party and family gathering. Who knew it would be soooooo good.

Big hit! Loved them! I added powdered sugar and mixed long and chilled in freezer in stainless steel to set up!

Maybe they needed more sugar.. They were not very appetizing

I tried these for a girls holiday get together.  First, I'd suggest to make in the form of cupcakes since that is easier to freeze.  I barely used 1/3 of one 9 inch pan. Maybe I did something wrong? It seemed a bit like too much cream cheese. Maybe I made them too large but they didn't seem to harder. I may throw it back in a bowl with a mixer and redo and try to incorporate more cake crumbs for something tomorrow.

I had no issues with the recipe. I did add more powdered sugar, just to sweeten. I didn't bother trying to make a perfect ball shape, instead I just blobbed it on the parchment paper lol. I let it set up for a full hour in the freezer, and no issues with the cake crumbs sticking. 
I doubled the recipe, so I left some sit in the freezer while I coated the first batch. 
They will be served at my sisters birthday party tomorrow. So, I had my kiddos do the taste test... they loved them. 😊❤

My cheesecake mixture never got stiff peaks and never firmed up, even though I put it in the freezer. It finally got cold enough that I could roll something that resembled balls in the red velvet crumbs. Since it's July Fourth, I tucked a large blueberry in the middle of each. I finally put the finished balls in the freezer and we ate them as frozen treats. They were delicious, and the blueberry in the middle was a fun surprise in taste and texture.

I made these and they never peaked nor did the cheesecake get hard after hours in the freezer.  I followed the recipe to a T. Anyone else have this issue and did you find a way to fix it?? Help please

This recipe is an absolute lie. The cheesecake mixture does not firm up at all and makes a huge mess. Someone clearly left something out of this recipe 0/10 do not reccomend

These Red Velvet Cheesecake Bites Are Like Little Balls Of Heaven

Here's how to make smooth and creamy holiday dark chocolate peppermint truffles. This recipe makes a ton; great for homemade gift-giving!

Dark Chocolate Peppermint Truffles

(397 grams) semi-sweet chocolate, coarsely chopped*

(180 milliliters) heavy cream, heavy whipping cream,

vanilla extract

peppermint extract

Tablespoons (30 grams) unsalted butter, softened to room temperature

(62 grams) natural unsweetened or Dutch-process cocoa powder

Place semi-sweet chocolate in a large heatproof bowl. Microwave in four fifteen second increments, stirring after each, for a total of 60 seconds. Stir until almost completely melted. Set aside. Why are you doing this? I like to briefly warm the chocolate before it is mixed with the cream to help initiate the melting and mixing process.

Pour cream into a small saucepan over medium heat. Whisking occasionally, heat until it just begins to boil. Remove from the heat, then whisk in the vanilla and peppermint extracts. Pour over the chocolate. Gently begin stirring with a wooden spoon in. Do not forcefully stir, always be gentle! Once the chocolate and cream are smooth, stir in the butter until combined and melted. Cover with plastic wrap pressed on the top of the mixture then allow to sit at room temperature for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, place in the refrigerator until it reaches &#8220;scoop-able&#8221; consistency, about 5 hours.

Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. Set aside.

Remove mixture from the refrigerator. Measure 1 teaspoon, roll mixture in your hands into a ball as best as you can, then place on the baking sheet. The mixture might be a little sticky. Coat your palms with a little cocoa powder, which makes the mixture easier to handle. Repeat rolling the rest of the mixture. (A rolling tip: If you can&#8217;t roll into perfect balls, do the best you can and place on the baking sheet. The air will help &#8220;dry out&#8221; the truffles. After 15 minutes, you&#8217;ll be able to roll them into neater balls.)

Roll each ball into cocoa powder to coat. Serve immediately or cover at room temperature for up to 1 week. You can refrigerate the truffles, but I prefer serving and eating them at room temperature. Bring to room temperature before serving if you prefer.

Create homemade edible sugar cookie dough.

Using clean hands, scoop and roll the sugar cookie dough into balls.

In a microwave safe bowl, add white chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between, until melted through.

Dip each ball of sugar cookie dough in the melted white chocolate. Toss to evenly coat, then tap off any excess. Add sprinkles on top to decorate. Set aside until the chocolate sets. Enjoy!

Place your cookies into the bowl of your mixer and mix on medium speed until fine crumbs. Add in the cream cheese and mix until the mixture is smooth.

Scoop about 1.5 tablespoons of the dough. Smush the dough in your hands and roll it into a ball. Place the dough balls onto a sheet pan lined with parchment paper. Place them in the fridge for 3 minutes.

Melt your chocolate with half the coconut oil over a double boiler or in the microwave in 30-second increments. Add the rest of the coconut oil if the chocolate is too thick.

Dip your balls into the chocolate using a fork and top them with your sprinkles. Place them on the sheet pan.

Allow the chocolate to set for at least 10 minutes, and enjoy.

Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with waxed paper. Set aside.

Store balls in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks or freeze for up to 3 months.
