Insanely Delicious Hot Crab Dip

cream cheese (softened)

sour cream

mayonnaise

cheddar cheese (grated)

garlic powder

paprika

Worcestershire Sauce

lemon juice

salt

pepper

crab meat (canned)

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. In a medium sized mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, paprika, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Stir together until combined and fold in lump crab meat.

Spread in a small casserole dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until heated through and bubbly. Serve with a slice baguette or tortilla chips.

Maryland Crab Dip Recipe

lb Jumbo Lump Crab Meat

oz Cream Cheese ((room temperature))

Mayonnaise

Sour Cream

Dijon Mustard

tbsp Lemon

tsp Hot Sauce

tbsp Old Bay Seasoning

tsp Garlic Powder

tbsp Chives

tsp Red Pepper Flakes ((optional))

oz Colby Jack Cheese ((shredded))

oz Cheddar Cheese ((shredded))

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Check crab meat for any shell fragments and remove them before using the crab meat in your dip. Drain off any excess liquid.

Mix room temperature cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, and dijon mustard in a large mixing bowl. Use a hand mixer to whisk together all of the ingredients. Mix until fully combined and smooth, about 1-2 minutes. Then add in old bay seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, garlic powder, chives, and lemon juice. Continue to mix until combined.

Add half ot the sharp cheddar cheese, half of the colby jack cheese, and all of that fresh lump crab meat. Fold together with a rubber spatula and add to an oven safe baking dish. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Bake for 20 minutes, then broil for 3-5 minutes.

Allow the dip to cool for 10 minutes. Serve with crackers, toasted bread, or fresh vegetables.

Crab Dip

(8 ounce) package cream cheese,

In a medium bowl, use an electric mixer to blend together the cream cheese, mayonnaise, mustard, onion, garlic powder, and seasoned salt. Fold in the parsley and crab meat. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

This dip can be served hot or cold. For a hot dip, transfer the crab mixture to an oven-safe dish. Sprinkle grated cheese on top, if desired. Bake at 350°F until bubbly and heated through. Garnish with chopped fresh herbs just before serving.

First time I made this I used imitation crab meat and everyone loved it. Second time I used canned crab meat and I'm going back to imitation crab, so much better. Excellent recipe. Follow it to the letter, it's absolutely delicious. Thank you

I made this crab dip several times for family and friends over the last few years and everyone Has loved it. We’ve had it hot and cold.  It never lasts very long. Last month we had a crawfish boil and had a bunch leftover. So I substituted the crab with crawfish. It turned out awesome. So naturally I tried chopped shrimp from the boil and again the dip turned out great.  Spices from the boil really added a kick.  I think I see a combination of crab, crawfish and shrimp in the near future. Thanks for the great recipe.

Easy Hot Crab Dip Recipe

white cheddar cheese, shredded and divided

crab meat, drained

Add the cream cheese, mayonnaise, and Greek yogurt to a large mixing bowl and stir until completely smooth. You can use a spoon to stir everything together or a hand mixer.

Once the cream cheese mixture is smooth, add the lemon zest, lemon juice, hot sauce, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, cayenne pepper, Old Bay seasoning, ground mustard, salt, pepper, and half the shredded cheese. Stir until well combined.

Next fold in the lump crab meat and green onion until well combined. Give the dip a taste and adjust the seasoning as needed.

Transfer the crab dip to a 9-inch skillet or a 9-inch pie dish. Top the dip evenly with the remaining shredded cheese.

Bake the dip at 350 degrees for 20 minutes until bubbly. Finish the dip by broiling for 1-2 minutes until golden, being careful to watch so it doesn&#8217;t burn.
