The fresh, vibrant flavors of this Crab Pasta Salad are perfect for any occasion. You will love this coastal inspired dish!

Crab Pasta Salad

pasta shells

imitation crab meat

celery

salt and pepper ((to taste))

carrot ((optional))

mayonnaise ((we always use Best Foods / Hellmann's))

milk

sugar

dill ((optional for garnish))

Cook shells according to package directions. Rinse with cold water to cool the shells quickly. Set aside.

Chop crab meat into small pieces with a knife or coarsely chop in a food processor.

Place crab in a large bowl and toss with chopped celery, shredded carrot (optional), salt, and pepper. In a small separate bowl, combine mayonnaise, milk, and sugar and stir into the crab mixture.

Fold in the cooked pasta shells and stir until evenly coated. Top with fresh dill for garnish (optional).

Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.

This Crab Pasta Salad is a family recipe, one of my favorites!  Packed with veggies and delicious flavor, it&#x27;s a staple at summer BBQs!  

lb medium pasta shells

imitation crab meat (cut bite size)

medium black olives (sliced)

red bell pepper (diced)

celery (diced)

plain non fat yogurt (see note)

fat free mayonnaise

TBSP Spike

tsp celery salt

TBSP yellow mustard

TBSP soy sauce

Italian vinaigrette salad dressing (see note)

Cook pasta according to package instructions.  Drain and rinse with cold water.

In a very large bowl, mix the pasta, crab, olives, red peppers, green onions, and celery.

In a small bowl, whisk together the yogurt, mayo, Spike, celery salt, yellow mustard, soy sauce, and salad dressing.

Pour the dressing over the pasta and veggies and stir to combine.  Refrigerate at least two hours before serving.
