Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Line a baking sheet with foil for easy cleanup. In a large bowl, whisk together milk, sugar, eggs, salt, and vanilla until smooth. Add flour and baking powder, stirring to combine until there are no lumps.

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and coat with nonstick spray or oil. Working in batches, dip croissant halves in batter, allowing excess to drip back into the bowl. Arrange in a single layer on the skillet.

Cook until golden brown on one side, about 3 to 5 minutes. Flip each half and continue to cook until golden brown on the second side sides. Remove to prepared baking sheet and keep warm in the oven until serving time. Repeat with remaining croissant halves. Serve with syrup, powdered sugar, whipped cream, and strawberries as desired.

Berry Stuffed French Toast

oz room temperature cream cheese

In a large mixing bowl add eggs, heavy cream, milk, cinnamon and vanilla extract. Beat just until combined.

In another bowl add cream cheese, and sugar. Mix until smooth. Fold in the berries.

Slice the croissants down the center, to make a &quot;pocket&quot; add 2-3 tablespoons of the cream cheese filling. Arrange in a 13&#215;9 greased baking dish.

Pour the custard filling over the croissants. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Bake uncovered for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown.

Orange Croissant Breakfast Bake

(8 oz) package cream cheese,

Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 2 qt baking dish (8-inch square works well) with butter or nonstick spray.

In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and fluffy, about 3 minutes.

Add sugar and beat until fully incorporated, then add eggs, milk, orange zest, and almond extract and again mix to combine.

Place chopped croissants in prepared baking dish and place dollops of marmalade among them, stirring a bit to distribute if needed.

Pour cream cheese mixture over croissants, then cover dish tightly with foil.

Bake 30 minutes, then uncover and bake until top is golden brown and toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, about 15 more minutes.

Let cool slightly before serving. Dust with powdered sugar, if desired, and serve. Enjoy!

Strawberry Croissant French Toast

Fresh Strawberries (hulled)

Sugar

Lemon

tbsp Chia Seeds (optional)

oz Cream Cheese (at room temperature (vegan or regular))

tbsp Maple Syrup

¼ tsp Vanilla Extract

Eggs

Canned Light Coconut Milk (or half and half)

tbsp Brown Sugar

tsp Vanilla Extract

tsp Cinnamon

Nutmeg

tbsp Butter (plus more as needed (for the pan))

Add the ingredients to a large saucepan over medium heat. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves.

Add chia seeds, optional. Increase heat to med-high and bring to a rolling boil.

Stir and mash the strawberries while stirring as the mixture continues to boil.

Allow it to boil for 10 minutes, or until it thickens and bubbles completely cover the top of the jam.

Transfer to a jaw and let cool at room temp.

Store in the fridge for a week. (makes about 1 ½ cups jam)

To Make the Homemade Strawberry Jam (optional)

In a small bowl, combine the cream cheese, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and lemon juice. Whisk the ingredients until smooth.

To Make the Maple Cream Cheese Mixture

Preheat the oven to 200°F.

Combine the ingredients for the french toast mixture (except butter) in a large shallow bowl.

Slice the croissants lengthwise, but be sure to not cut all the way through.

Spread a heaping amount of strawberry jam on one side of the croissants and the maple cream cheese on the other. Close the croissant.

Heat a large skillet over medium heat and coat with nonstick spray or butter.

Dip the croissant into the french toast mixture. Letting it soak on both sides for about 5-10 seconds each side (do not soak too long or the french toast will be soggy). Let excess liquid to drip back into the bowl.

Cook until golden brown on one side, about 2-4 minutes per side. Flip and continue to cook until golden brown on the second. Remove from the heat and transfer to prepared a parchment-lined baking sheet. Keep warm in the oven until serving time. Repeat with remaining stuffed croissants.
