Homemade Peanut Butter Dog Treats Recipe

In a large bowl combine flour, baking powder, and the egg. Add peanut butter, water, honey and stir until you have stiff dough. the dough becomes very firm and sticky. you may need to use your hands, or the paddle attachment on your mixer.

On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough about 1/2 inch thick and use a cookie cutter to make fun shapes. the treats barely spread and rise, so get creative with your shapes.

Bake for 20 minutes, until golden.

Place coconut oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat and stir until liquified.

Add in peanut butter and cinnamon while stirring continuously.

Continue to stir until mixture is completely combined and is the consistency of soup or chicken broth.

Remove from heat and pour into silicone ice cube mold trays and refrigerate or freeze until they are set. (2-4 hours) You may want to put the silicone tray on a sturdy cookie sheet to make transferring to the freezer easier.

Pop-out of the tray and treat your doggy! Store treats in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Peanut Butter Carrot Doggy Cake

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease an 8" round cake pan or an 8x4-inch loaf pan.

2. Whisk together the flour and baking soda. Add the rest of the ingredients and, using a rubber spatula or wooden spoon, mix until thoroughly combined. Pour batter into pan and bake for about 30 minutes, or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean. Allow to cool, then spread additional peanut butter on top for "frosting", if desired.

Peanut Butter Pumpkin Dog Cookies Recipe

(122 grams) pumpkin puree

½ cups (186 grams) whole wheat flour

Preheat oven to 350°F. Line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.

Stir together pumpkin puree, peanut butter, molasses, and egg until smooth. Stir in flour until you get a shaggy dough and can’t stir anymore.

Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead until it comes together, adding more flour to the board and/or dough so it doesn’t stick.

Roll dough to a large rectangle, about ¼-inch thick. Use a 1-inch or 2-inch cookie cutter to cut out cookies. Place cookies on prepared cookie sheet, re-rolling dough as needed.

Bake small cookies for 15-18 minutes or until the bottoms are lightly golden. Cool completely before feeding or storing cookies. Cookies will dry out as they cool (they will be soft but firm).

Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to a month.

*&quot;Best dog biscuit EVER&quot; claim is based off of Sierra&#039;s feedback. Results may vary.The flax and turmeric can be left out if you don&#039;t have any on hand, but they are a nice healthy addition. If you leave out the flax, add another 1/4 cup of flour. You can also use beef or chicken stock instead of the hot water &amp; bouillon powder, however the treats may not keep as long afterwards. Or you can eliminate the bouillon powder, but the biscuits won&#039;t be as tasty! The brown sugar is optional too. It was helpful for Sierra because she would get a weird head-shaky thing which was possibly tied to low blood sugar. About 5 cups of treats, depending on how you cut them.

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.

Dissolve the bouillon in the hot water. Set aside.

Combine the flour, brown sugar, ground flax, and turmeric in a mixer bowl. Using a dough hook, mix in hot water mixture, peanut butter and egg. Continue mixing until the dough ball is smooth, occasionally scraping down the sides of the bowl to help everything mix together.

Roll out the dough to a little less than 1/2&quot; thick. Cut into desired dog biscuit shapes (we use hearts for &quot;good dogs&quot; and small circles or small bone shapes for training incentives). Place the cut out dog biscuits on the prepared sheet pans.

Bake for about 35-40 minutes or until the biscuits feel dried and fairly hard (they will harden a bit more after cooling). Baking time will vary depending on how thick the biscuits were rolled out. As long as the biscuits are cooked fully dry, they will keep for several weeks or more.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a large sheet pan with parchment paper.

Mix the applesauce, creamy peanut butter, and egg together in a medium sized bowl using a hand mixer or stand mixer.

Divide the mixture as evenly as possible into three medium sized mixing bowls (a little more than ⅓ cup per bowl).

Add all-natural red food coloring to one bowl, and all-natural green food coloring to another bowl, optional. Leave the last bowl uncolored.

Mix the food coloring into each wet mixture until completely combined. Keep in mind that the color will dilute when the flour mixture is added, so add a little more food coloring than you think it will need.

In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and rolled oats and stir until well mixed.

Divide the flour mixture into three (1 cup each) and add to each of the three bowls.

Use a hand or stand mixer to stir the flour into each wet mixture until just combined.

The mixture should create a slightly dry but malleable dough. If it is too dry, add more applesauce, ½ Tablespoon at a time. If it is too wet, add more flour, 1 teaspoon at a time. Mix these add-ins with your hands if possible in order to avoid overmixing the flour.

Roll the three different colored doughs (or single colored dough) onto a lightly floured surface using a rolling pin until the dough is ¼ inch in thickness.

Use Christmas shaped cookie cutters to cut out cookie shapes--rerolling the dough until all the dough is used. Place the cookies on the sheet pan.

Bake in the oven for 13-18 minutes or until they turn golden brown. You can vary the bake times depending on preference. For a softer treat, cook for less time.

Let cool completely before serving as treats to your precious canines.

Return cut treats to baking dish and bake at reduced temperature of 275 degrees for an additional 40-60 minutes. Check dog treats at 40 minutes, and every 5 minutes thereafter, until treats are dried and golden brown. The treats will continue to dry out as they cool.

Easy Pumpkin Dog Treat Recipe

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin, eggs, and peanut butter, and stir well.

Add 2.5 cups of flour, and stir to combine. The dough should be about the consistency of play-dough: soft and easy to roll out, but not wet and sticky. Add more flour as needed to reach this consistency.

Divide the dough into 2 pieces. Working with one piece at a time, roll it out on a well-floured surface until it is 1/2-inch thick.

Cut the dog treats out using a cookie cutter, or you can simply cut them into squares using a knife.

Place the cut-out cookies on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Repeat with remaining dough, gathering and re-rolling the scrap dough until all the dough is used.

Bake for 20 minutes or until cooked through.

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week or in the freezer for 3 months.

Peanut Butter Dog Treats

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, add in the peanut butter and eggs. Beat with hand mixer until combined.

Add in the whole wheat flour and water and beat until the dough forms a ball.

Dust your work surface with whole wheat flour.

Roll the dough out to a 1/4-inch thickness.

Cut out with the cookie cutter and place an inch apart on the prepared cookie sheet. They won't spread.

Press holes into the cookie using a fork or a skewer.

Bake for 18 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. This will depend on the size of your  cookie cutter. Mine was 3 1/4-inch long.

Store in an airtight container. The cookies freeze well after being baked and will last up to 3 months in the freezer.

Dog Treats

In a small microwave-safe bowl, add in the peanut butter and coconut oil.  Microwave for 30 seconds and stir to combine.  It should be a runny consistency but be thick enough that it doesn&#x27;t thin out and not hold its shape.

Lay the dog bones out on wax paper.

Use a spoon or add the drizzle to the sandwich bag and cut a small hole in the corner, drizzle the glaze over top of each dog treat.
