Healthy + Delicious Homemade Peanut Butter Coconut Oil Dog Treats

Silicon ice cube tray

Place coconut oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat and stir until liquified.

Add in peanut butter and cinnamon while stirring continuously.

Continue to stir until mixture is completely combined and is the consistency of soup or chicken broth.

Remove from heat and pour into silicone ice cube mold trays and refrigerate or freeze until they are set. (2-4 hours) You may want to put the silicone tray on a sturdy cookie sheet to make transferring to the freezer easier.

Pop-out of the tray and treat your doggy! Store treats in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Blueberry Frozen Dog Treats

blueberries

¾ cup greek yogurt (low fat preferably)

½ banana, ripe

Gather all ingredients and equipment.

Add all ingredients into a blender or food processor.  Blend until fully incorporated, about 90 seconds.

Pour into molds.  Freeze until solid, about 5 hours.

Remove from molds and give as treats. Happy dog!

kgs Green tomatoes, chopped (Main)

kg Onions, chopped

Salt

½ kgs Sugar

tsp Allspice, ground

tsp Ground black pepper

Malt vinegar, use enough to almost cover vegetables

Tbsp Ground turmeric

g mustard

Tbsp Cornflour

Cayenne pepper

Mix chopped vegetables with salt and leave overnight in fridge, or for at least 8 hours.

Drain off brine. Put vegetables, sugar, allspice and pepper in saucepan. Pour in enough vinegar to almost cover. Boil for 30 minutes.

Mix turmeric, mustard, cornflour and cayenne pepper to a paste with a little water and stir into mixture to thicken. Boil another 5 minutes. Bottle in hot sterilised jars.

Dog Treats with Peanut Butter, Banana and Carrot

In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, banana, carrot and peanut butter

If the dough is too wet, add some rolled oats until it's dry enough to roll out

Roll the dough about ¼ to 1/3 inch thick and use whatever cookie cutters you like to cut out shapes

Place them on a cookie sheet and bake until brown at the edges, about 15 minutes

Sweet Potato Puree

Preheat oven to 350°F and coat a baking sheet with non-stick spray.

Whisk together whole wheat flour and sweet potato in a large bowl. If the mixture is too thick to stir, add up to a Tablespoon of water.

On lightly floured surface, roll the dough out to 1/2&quot; thickness. Use a cookie cutter to create biscuits.

Place the biscuits on your prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown.

Store in airtight bag or container.
