Copycat Chinese Restaurant Dry Garlic Ribs are a nostalgic buffet favourite.  Every 80s and 90s Chinese buffet included these delicious ribs and this is a make-at-home recipe that&#039;s better than the original! Get ready, because one taste of these ribs and you&#039;ll be transported back in time!

Copycat Chinese Restaurant Dry Garlic Ribs

pork ribs,

broth

brown sugar

soy sauce

garlic, (minced)

yellow mustard

onion, (finely chopped)

black pepper

Preheat oven to 200 degrees.

Layer ribs on a rimmed baking sheet.  Season both sides with salt and pepper.  Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour.

In a large bowl, whisk together the broth, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic, mustard, and onion.  Whisk until the brown sugar is completely dissolved.

Remove ribs from oven and remove the foil.  Increase the heat to 350 degrees.

Pour the sauce over the ribs and place the foil back on the baking sheet.  Return to oven and bake for 1 hour.

Remove from oven and discard the foil.  Bake for 15 minutes.

Remove from oven, and turn each rib over.  Bake for 15 minutes.

Repeat two more times.

Garnish and serve - perfect with steamed rice!  It's a great way to use up the extra sauce!

Add all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well.

Add the chicken and ensure it is well coated with the marinade. Refrigerate for one hour.&amp;nbsp;

Cook in an air fryer at 160 degrees for 7-8 minutes.

Prawns Fry (Indian Shrimp Fry)

lb Prawn (cleaned and deveined)

Onions (chopped)

Curry Leaves

tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste

tsp Chili Powder

tsp Coriander Powder

tsp Garam Masala Powder

½ tsp Turmeric Powder

Salt (as needed)

In a bowl, add the cleaned prawns or shrimp and add salt, ginger garlic paste, turmeric, chili, coriander, and garam masala powder

Mix everything well and rest it for about 15 minutes

Now in pan with medium heat, pour oil and add onions. Saute the onions until it turns soft

Now add the marinated prawns and give a good mix

Allow the prawns to cook until it leaves water and swirls up

Now switch the heat to high and roast the prawns until all the masala coat thoroughly on them

Finally, add a lot of curry leaves and give a quick stir. And now it is ready for you to taste and enjoy

The Dry Negroni is a simple variation on the original Negroni recipe. Rather than sweet vermouth, this version subs in dry vermouth. The result: a somewhat drier but still very herbal and aromatic cocktail that provides a fun departure from the classic when you want to mix things up.

Dry Negroni Cocktail

oz Campari bitters

oz gin

dry vermouth

Pour Campari, gin and vermouth into an old-fashioned glass almost filled with ice cubes.

Stir well, garnish with a twist of lemon, and serve.

Lambs' fry with bacon

350 g Lamb's fry (Main)

Bacon,

Onion, thinly sliced (Main)

Tbsp Butter

Tbsp Flour

Worcestershire sauce

Thinly slice the liver into 3mm thick pieces. In a plastic bag, put about 2 tablespoons of flour and shake the slices in it to coat.

Heat a frying pan and fry the bacon until crisp, then remove. Add the butter and gently fry the onions until clear, then remove. Turn up the heat and cook the liver quickly for about a minute on each side - it should still be red in the middle.

Throw the bacon and onion back in the pan and sprinkle the Worcestershire sauce over it. Give it a shake to cover and heat through, then remove from the heat. Serve on toast.

You can also do this with balsamic vinegar instead of the Worcestershire sauce, and if you have any strong fruit jellies like currant or quince paste, throw a teaspoonful of this in as well.
