Crush the digestive biscuits, either by hand using a wooden spoon, or in a <a href="https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/content/test-five-best-food-processors">food processor</a>, until you get fine crumbs, tip into a bowl. Mix the crushed biscuits with the melted butter until fully combined. Tip the mixture into a 23cm loose bottomed fluted tart tin and cover the tin, including the sides, with the biscuit in an even layer. Push down with the back of a spoon to smooth the surface and chill for 1 hr, or overnight.&nbsp;

Beat the caramel to loosen and spoon it over the bottom of the biscuit base. Spread it out evenly using the back of a spoon or palette knife. Gently push&nbsp;the chopped banana into the top of the caramel until the base is&nbsp;covered. Put in the fridge.

Whip the cream with the icing sugar until billowy and thick. Take the pie&nbsp;out of the fridge and spoon the whipped cream on top of the bananas. Grate the dark chocolate over the cream, if you like,&nbsp;and serve.

Thick, rich caramel filling is loaded with bananas and layered in a graham cracker crust, then topped off with homemade whipped cream and chocolate shavings.

Mix the crushed biscuits with the melted butter and press firmly into a tin using the back of a spoon. If you have time, chill for 30 minutes.

Spoon the caramel into the biscuit base and smooth over. If you have time, chill or pop into the freezer for an hour or until you are ready to serve.

Top with bananas, then the whipped cream (mixed with vanilla and icing sugar if you are using).

Add chocolate sprinkles if you&#039;re using them and serve.

The chocolate toffee bits add texture and an extra hit of toffee to this delicious pie!

(13.4 oz) dulce de leche (caramelized sweetened condensed milk)

heavy whipping cream

milk chocolate-coated toffee bits (from 8-oz package)

Heat oven to 400°F. Place pie crust in 9-inch glass pie plate as directed on box for One-Crust Filled Pie. Bake 12 to 14 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.

Reserve 2 tablespoons dulce de leche. Spoon remaining contents of can of dulce de leche into center of cooled crust; gently spread to edge.

Slice 2 bananas; arrange on top of dulce de leche.

In medium bowl, beat whipping cream with electric mixer on high speed until stiff peaks form. Spread over bananas.

Slice remaining banana. Arrange banana slices on whipped cream.

In small microwavable bowl, microwave reserved dulce de leche uncovered on High 10 to 20 seconds or until smooth.  Drizzle over pie. Sprinkle with toffee bits. Store covered in refrigerator.
