easy chicken teriyaki

10-Minute Teriyaki Chicken

organic chicken breasts,

broccoli, steamed

Tablespoon oil

soy sauce ((or liquid aminos))

Tablespoon coconut sugar

sesame oil

ginger (grated fresh or dried)

corn starch

garlic cloves,

sesame seeds (*optional)

Whisk all of teriyaki sauce ingredients in a small bowl.&nbsp;

On medium heat in a cast-iron skillet brown chicken in oil until cooked on all sides and slightly crispy. *If pan isn't hot enough the chicken will steam so make sure pan is hot but not burning.*&nbsp;

Add teriyaki sauce to cooked chicken and stir for 1 to 2 minutes for sauce to thicken.

Stir in broccoli with chicken and sauce. Serve over rice with sprinkled sesame seeds and enjoy!&nbsp;

TERRIBLE! Far to salty due to the vinegar! I recommend using a different recipe!

Delicious! Tweaked a few ingredients a bit: less honey, added brown sugar to sauce, less ginger, and added some carrots. Thanks for the inspiration👍🏻

Unfortunately, one star.  Sauce is terribly overpowering.  Even serving with a lot of rice didn't tone it down enough.

Well, it wasn't horrible,  but I wish I wouldn't have added that much ginger. I would suggest maybe like half or even less.

Made this for dinner, cut half the ginger, it was fantastic, will make this again.

Omg it tastes terrible I’m sorry but the amount of ginger and vinegar is way to much for the recipe, it’s as if I’m only eating chicken with vinegar & ginger nothing else matter. 

I think you guys need to rewrite the ingredients or remove it because this such waste of food and time

Pretty good....halve the ginger, add a tbls of brown sugar....maybe double the honey.

This Teriyaki Chicken Let's You Finally Kick Your Take-Out Habit

Teriyaki Chicken. Tender chicken thighs cooked in a sweet, sticky, savoury teriyaki glaze. A popular Japanese dish that is simple to make at home. Ready in under 30 minutes. A great main for dinner, lunch or as leftovers.

Easy Teriyaki Chicken (Authentic)

lb chicken thighs (boneless, skinless or skin-on)

tbsp cooking oil

green onion (finely sliced (optional garnish))

½ tsp sesame seeds ((optional garnish))

sake

soy sauce (not light or dark soy sauce!)

sugar

mirin

garlic

tsp ginger (grated)

Slice chicken thighs into equal thirds.

Combine sauce ingredients in a small saucepan and mix well. Bring to a boil so it&#39;s bubbling and let it bubble for 2 minutes to evaporate the alcohol. Remove off heat and set aside.

Using a brush, lightly dust sliced chicken with cornstarch on both sides with dabbing motion. Do not heavily coat in cornstarch.

Over medium high heat, add cooking oil into hot pan. Fry chicken thighs on both sides until browned. About 4-5 minutes each side.

Pour sauce over top. Let it bubble to thicken and reduce, about 1-3 minutes. Flip chicken over to simmer on the other side for 30 seconds. Optional: garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Enjoy!
