Irish Whiskey Smash. A St. Patrick’s Day twist on a classic whiskey smash cocktail recipe that uses Irish whiskey and lime to make it green!

Whiskey Smash

mint leaves (plus additional for garnish)

light agave nectar (or simple syrup)

Mash

Place the mint leaves, lime wedges, and agave in the bottom of a cocktail shaker or mason jar. With a muddler or the handle of a wooden spoon, mash 4 to 5 times, just enough to release juices and oils. Add the whiskey and top with a small handful of crushed ice.

Shake

Cover and shake vigorously for 30 seconds to combine. Transfer to an old-fashioned or similar glass. Pile more crushed ice on top. Garnish with additional mint sprigs. Enjoy immediately.

Pine Needle Soda Recipe - make natural soda with pine needles

water ((use bottled or filtered water))

tbsp sugar

Collect pine needles from white pine trees (* See Note1). Remove woody ends from the pine needles. Put pine needles in a large bowl, immerse them with cold water, wash and drain for 3 times.

Spread washed pine needles on a wire rack, let dry on your countertop for about 1 hour.

Place pine needles and sugar to a flip top glass bottle (* See Note2).

Fill the bottle with filtered or bottled water.

Close the lid and give the bottle a good shake, so that the sugar is distributed evenly.

In cold weather, you can put the bottle by a window so that the water is under the sunlight. In hot weather, keep the bottle in a bright room but avoid direct sunlight. (*See Note 3)

3 days later, fill a cup with ice cubes and a few slices of lemon. Open the bottle and pour the pine needle soda over the ice cubes. Stir and enjoy.

orange-pineapple juice blend

coconut rum

spiced rum

bitters

nutmeg

cherries

Lime

pineapple wedges

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add the juice, coconut rum, spiced rum, and 4-5 shakes of bitters. Shake for 30 seconds.

Pour into 2 iced tumblers or one tall glass. Then pour in 1-2 teaspoons of cherry juice and let it settle at the bottom of the glass. Garnish with a lime slice, pineapple wedge, and a cherry.

Zest fresh nutmeg over the top and serve!

Drunken Monkey Rum Cocktails

This is one of those recipes that floods your mind with nostalgia and memories! I grew up on pink lemonade! Sweet and tart and the ultimate refresher! So I had to recreate it with some fun twists! My recipe is just like you remember but with the bonus of being all natural! Refined sugar free, full of electrolytes and naturally dyed pink using superfoods!

Homemade Pink Lemonade

lemons (juiced)

(filtered water)

coconut water

tsp pink pitaya powder (I used Nature Restore)

lemon

extra ice to serve

Simply add all ingredients into a blender and blend until thoroughly combined.

To serve. Pour over ice, garnish with fresh lemon slices and enjoy!

Store the lemonade in the fridge for up to a week :)

This drink is creamy, citrusy, and refreshing and uses only 3 simple ingredients: ice, limes, and sweetened condensed milk.

Brazilian Lemonade

sweetened condensed milk (300 ml)

Zest 2 of the limes and reserve. Now, take all 4 limes and remove the peels and pith (the white coating between the lime flesh and peel).

Add the peeled limes to a blender with the cold water. Blend for 20 to 30 seconds. Place a fine-mesh strainer over a bowl and pour the blended liquid through the strainer. You should be left with a little bit of pulp which you can use for other recipes or compost.

Pour the strained liquid back into the blender with ice, the reserved lime zest and the sweetened condensed milk. Blend until frothy.

Enjoy with extra ice and if you&#39;re in the mood, you can absolutely add a splash of your favorite alcohol too.

So tart not sweet at all I ended up adding ¾ cups of sugar to sweeten it up and it made the best lime-ade

Sometimes we remove the peel too. If not drinked right alway, the lemonade become very bitter.
But it’s really good!

This Brazilian lemonade is definitely worth the hype and the latest viral drink! To clear things up, this lemonade is not made from lemons but from limes.

The reason why Brazilian lemonade is called a lemonade and not a limeade is due to the translation. In Portuguese, limão is the term for lime, so everyone calls it limonada. In Bulgaria we also call any type of citrus drink limonada, limonada generally serves as a broad term for any lime or lemon juice, hence the confusion in English.

This drink is creamy, citrusy, and refreshing. It’s only 3 simple ingredients which include water, ice, limes, lime zest, and sweetened condensed milk. Traditionally, Brazilian lemonade uses whole limes — pith, peel, and all. The whole limes are blended with water and ice to create the base of this drink but I decided to save some time and peel the limes prior to adding them in as the limes in Canada have really thick skin and can be extremely bitter.
