Best Guacamole Recipe

Hass avocados

red onion (about 1 small)

lemon juice (about 1/2 medium lemon)

lime juice (about 1/2 small lime)

Worcestershire sauce

garlic (minced (about 1 teaspoon))

salt

black pepper

roma tomato (diced (optional))

feta

Cooked and crumbled bacon*

fresh cilantro

Toasted pepitas

Salty tortilla chips

Halve

Halve the avocados lengthwise and remove their pits (be sure to cut them on the cutting board, not in your hand).

Scoop

Scoop the flesh into a large mixing bowl.

Add the red onion, lemon juice, lime juice, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, salt, and pepper.

Mash

With a fork, mash together until the mixture is half chunky and half creamy.

Stir

Gently stir in the diced tomato. Don&#39;t overmix! Chunky guac is happy guac.

Serve

Taste and add additional salt, pepper, hot sauce, and lemon or lime juice to taste. Serve with salty tortilla chips and veggies.

Quick & Easy Guacamole Recipe

Medium Avocados

½ tsp ground cumin

garlic powder

onion powder

½ - 1 tsp sea salt

tsp black pepper

lime juice

TBS chopped fresh cilantro

tomatoes

Cut open avocados lengthwise, remove the pit, and use a spoon to scoop out the flesh into a medium-sized mixing bowl.

Use a potato masher or fork and gently mash the avocado, leaving it a little bit chunky at this point.

Add cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, ½ tsp salt, pepper and 1 TBS lime juice.

If you would like your guacamole smoother, use a fork or your potato masher to mix in the spices as you mash the mixture. If you like your guacamole a little chunkier, use a rubber spatula to stir in the spices until well combined!

Add cilantro and tomatoes and stir until combined.

Taste and add extra salt or lime juice if needed!

Let sit for at least 30 minutes at room temperature before Serving.

You may place it in the fridge if making more than 30 minutes ahead of time. I recommend plopping a pit in the middle, adding a splash of lime juice to the top layer, and covering it very tightly with plastic wrap (so no air gets to the guacamole) in order to prevent browning.

Serve at room temperature or cold, whichever you prefer!

Make the guacamole: Place the pulp from the avocados in a medium bowl and slightly mash with a fork or a potato masher leaving some large chunks. Add lime juice, salt, pepper, cilantro, red onion, garlic and mix thoroughly.

If you are serving this at a later time: a great tip to keep the guacamole from turning brown is to cover tightly with plastic wrap so no air gets on it.
