Creamy Rice And Shrimp

garlic

white rice ((not instant rice))

white wine

water

Better than Bouillon ((fish or lobster base))

shrimp ((can be fresh or frozen))

tomato,

half & half

Parmesan cheese

chives ((optional))

Creamy Rice and Shrimp

In a large saucepan, combine the garlic, rice, white wine, water, and fish/lobster bouillon base and bring to a boil.

Add the seafood (OK if it is still frozen) and mix.

Once it returns to a boil, reduce heat and simmer uncovered about 20 minutes, stirring once or twice, until the rice is cooked.

Add half &amp; half and Parmesan cheese.

Right before serving, stir in the chopped tomato. Sprinkle with chopped chives (optional).

Easy to make and the garlic was a good recommendation.

It was delicious with a bit of olive oil and A tad  of butter with lemon pepper and fresh squeezed lemon! Sauté Jasmine Rice!

loved it with salt and pepper - everything plus a squeeze of lemon jouce.

I don’t do the sauce at the end and just top this with fresh rosemary or fresh Parsley Tastes great as is. No sauce needed. I usually serve over roasted veggies.

Used garlic rosemary salt, just a little butter and olive oil with a little fresh lemon juice at the end. They were soooooo good!!!! The best part was the scrapings from the pan.

Loved it! Added a little garlic with oil and butter  before adding scallops.  3 min each side cooked perfectly!

Very Easy!  I had never cooked scallops before this, but I will definitely make it again.  Delicious!

How To Sear Scallops Like A Boss — In Less Than 10 Minutes!

This simple fish pie is total comfort food, sure to make your belly happy! There&#x27;s cod, salmon and plenty of veggies in a lush sauce. It&#x27;s topped with cheesy mashed potatoes and makes for a hearty and delicious dinner you&#x27;re gonna love!

Simple Fish Pie

Russet potatoes (peeled (about 4 to 5 Russet potatoes))

unsalted butter

milk

cheddar cheese (about 1 cup)

chives

salt

leek

garlic (minced)

carrots

celery (thinly sliced about 1/4-inch thick)

salt (divided)

black pepper (divided)

unsalted butter (softened)

all-purpose flour

seafood broth

thyme

cayenne pepper

lemon (zest only)

peas

salmon

thyme leaves (garnish to taste (optional))

chives (garnish

Cut peeled potatoes into chunks.

Place potatoes into a large pot of cold, salted water, ensuring that the potatoes are fully covered by the water by at least an inch or two above the potatoes. Bring to a boil and cook until fork-tender, about 15 minutes. Drain.

Rice potatoes (or mash them) into a bowl. Add butter, milk, cheddar cheese, chives and salt, stirring to combine. Set aside.

Cheesy Mashed Potatoes

Heat olive oil in a 12-inch heavy oven-safe sauté/deep pan over medium heat on the stovetop.

Add leek and cook, stirring often, for 5 minutes or until softened.

Stir in garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Add carrots, celery, and 1/4 teaspoon each of salt and black pepper. Cook, stirring often, for 8 to 10 minutes or until softened slightly.

Add butter and melt.

Stir in flour to form a paste. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes.

Slowly (1/2 cup at a time) whisk in seafood broth and milk (you want to add the liquid in increments so that it gives things a chance to thicken before adding more liquid). Bring to a gentle simmer and cook until thickened, about 3 to 5 minutes.If you want less sauce in the finished product, you can add about 1/2 cup less broth here.

Season with thyme, 1/2 teaspoon each of salt and black pepper, cayenne pepper, and lemon zest.

Stir in peas.

Season cod and salmon with remaining 1/2 teaspoon each of salt and pepper.

Distribute seafood in pan, stirring to incorporate.

Fish Pie Filling

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Top seafood with reserved cheesy mashed potatoes. Don&#039;t smooth out perfectly. Leave little bumps and valleys so they create character and some crispy bits when baked.

Carefully place the pan onto a sheet pan (to catch any spills), then transfer to the preheated oven and bake for 40 to 45 minutes until everything is cooked through and the mashed potatoes have a little golden brown colour.

Let the fish pie cool for about 30 minutes before serving (don&#39;t skip this as it allows things to settle). Garnish with thyme and chives, if desired. Delicious served with lemon wedges. Enjoy!

Creamy, spicy, and loaded with shrimp, this Shrimp Chowder with Chipotle is a truly tasty keto chowder!

Add the red bell pepper and bring back to a simmer.

Add the shrimp and cream. If the shrimp are pre-cooked, just heat the soup to a boil, then season with salt and pepper and serve. Simmer the soup for an additional 2-3 minutes if the shrimp is uncooked.

This chowder was so delicious, it was so flavorful and perfectly spicy! I added some scallops as well, so it was more like a seafood chowder in the end. My husband and daughter both loved it too! I will be making this again, most definitely! 😋
