Deliciously marinated steak kabobs with mushrooms and red onions grilled to a tender perfection and served with an amazing mint yogurt dip!

Steak and Mushroom Kabobs with Mint Yogurt Dip

sirloin steak, (cut in 1-inch cubes)

FOR THE STEAK MARINADE

extra virgin olive oil

red wine vinegar

oregano

thyme

garlic, (minced)

salt and fresh ground pepper, (to taste)

FOR THE KABOBS

metal skewers

baby portobello mushrooms, (cleaned and stems removed)

red onion,

FOR THE MINT YOGURT DIP

yogurt

lemon juice

mint

salt and fresh ground pepper, to taste

olive oil

In a large mixing bowl whisk together extra virgin olive oil, vinegar, oregano, thyme, garlic, salt, and pepper.

Add prepared steak cubes to the marinade; cover and refrigerate for 2 hours, and up to 4 hours.

Once the meat has marinated, thread it onto the skewers alternating with pieces of mushrooms and red onion.

Turn on your gas grill to a medium setting and allow it to heat up for 15-20 minutes.

Using a grill brush, coat the grilling surface with oil.

When grill is ready, place kabobs on grilling surface and cook over medium heat, turning 2 or 3 times until all sides of the meat are browned and vegetables are tender, about 12 to 14 minutes.&nbsp;

In the meantime, prepare the mint yogurt dip.

In a small serving bowl combine yogurt, garlic, lemon juice, mint, salt and pepper; whisk until well combined.

Drizzle a little bit of olive oil over the surface of the dip.

Transfer grilled kabobs to a serving plate and serve with yogurt dipping sauce.

Quick and delicious foil-pack dinner loaded with juicy steak bites and tender mushrooms. 

Steak and Mushrooms Foil Packs

sirloin

mushrooms

soy sauce

basil

salt and pepper, (to taste)

red pepper, (for garnish)

green onions, (for garnish)

In a large bowl combine steak, mushrooms, garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, basil, thyme, salt and pepper.

Cover and set in the fridge for 15 to 30 minutes.

Take out from fridge and set on the counter for 15 minutes.

Cut out 4 large heavy-duty foil sheets. If you don't have heavy-duty foil, you can just double up on regular foil.

Divide steak and mushrooms between the sheets of foil.

Wrap foils tightly around the steak and mushrooms and seal it all together.

Preheat grill to HIGH.

Transfer foil packets to the grill and grill over high heat for 10 minutes per side.

Garnish with crushed red pepper and green onions, then serve.

GRILL METHOD

Preheat oven to 425˚F.

Cook for 20 to 22 minutes, or until internal temperature of steak reaches at least 140˚F. Use an Instant Read Thermometer to check for doneness. Just poke through the foil with the thermometer and set it into one of the steak pieces.

If you want a nice char on the steak, open up the packets the last 2 minutes of cooking and pop them under the broiler for a couple minutes.

Quick and easy, this air fryer steak recipe is certain to delight your family! It&#039;s perfect for a weeknight meal!

Air Fryer Steak | Medium Rare

Worcestershire sauce

coconut aminos ((or soy sauce))

Take the steak out an hour before cooking the steak (see notes below on why). Now for the marinating.

Take the steak out of its packing and pat dry with paper towels. Add to the glass container.

Add Worcestershire sauce, coconut aminos, cumin, and garlic paste.

Use your hands and massage the marinade onto the steak. Leave it on the counter and shake it every 15 minutes. Total time of marinating the steak will be 1 hour.

Preheat the air fryer at 400 F for 5 minutes. Once the oven preheats, set the temperature at 400 and the time for 8 minutes for medium rare steak.

Take the steak out of the marinade, and throw away any unused liquid. Lightly blot the steak with paper towels. You don&#39;t want it dripping with the marinade, but you don&#39;t want to wipe it all off. Add the steak to the air fryer basket and place in the air fryer oven.

After the 8 minutes, take a meat thermometer and check the temperature. Medium rare is between 130 - 140 F. See notes for different steak doneness.

Let sit for 5 minutes before cutting into it and consuming.

Great recipe and instructions, Sometimes it is nice to use the smaller air fry oven instead of the big oven and stove!

&nbsp;Perfectly seasoned sirloin steak, tender asparagus, and cherry tomatoes prepared together on just one sheet pan. SO easy and SO darn delicious!

asparagus, (trimmed)

cherry tomatoes

McCormick® Basil Leaves

teaspoon,

McCormick® Basil Leaves, (for garnish)

McCormick® Crushed Red Pepper, (for garnish)

Preheat oven to 400F.

Place asparagus and cherry tomatoes on a large sheet pan or baking tray. (Try not to let the vegetables overlap too much, so that they roast properly.)

Drizzle veggies with extra virgin olive oil and season with&nbsp;McCormick® Basil Leaves, salt, and pepper; using your hands or tongs, mix the veggies around until they are evenly covered with oil and seasonings.

Roast vegetables for 10 minutes.

FOR THE VEGETABLES

In the meantime, prepare the steak by seasoning with salt, pepper, and&nbsp;McCormick® Crushed Red Pepper; using your hands, rub the seasoning into the steaks.&nbsp;

Remove sheet pan from oven;&nbsp;push vegetables to the side to make room for the steaks; place steaks on the sheet pan and roast for 10 more minutes, or until desired doneness is reached. Flip the steaks half way through cooking.

FOR THE STEAK

In the meantime, prepare the Basil Garlic Butter by combining the butter,&nbsp;McCormick® Basil Leaves, garlic, salt and pepper in a small mixing bowl.

Using a fork, mix and mash the butter mixture until well incorporated.

Remove sheet pan from oven and&nbsp;spoon a few dabs of butter over the done steaks and veggies.

Garnish steaks and veggies with basil leaves and crushed red pepper.

Serve.(Give steaks about 7 minutes rest time before cutting)
