This recipe for healthy, vegan Ginger Turmeric shots is the perfect daily boost for your immune system. From anti-inflammatory properties and digestive aid to staving off a cold. Plus, it takes just 4 ingredients, a juicer and 10 minutes of your time!

Ginger Turmeric Immune-Boosting Energy Shots (juicer recipe)

Wash the turmeric and ginger well (I use organic ginger and turmeric). I don&#039;t peel the skin off but I wash it well with a vegetable brush.

Juice the turmeric.

Juice the ginger.

Juice the lemon (I peeled the skin and put the lemon through the juicer) but you can juice separately if you prefer. 

Mix everything and add the black pepper. This is needed to help get all the benefits from the turmeric.

Store in little glass vials and keep refrigerated for up to 7 days.

Daily Turmeric-Ginger Energy Shots (blender recipe)

Peel the ginger and turmeric using a spoon. Attention: the turmeric will badly stain your hands and utensils! I recommend using gloves.Once peeled, add them to a bowl.

Squeeze the lemon either by hand or using a citrus press. Add the lemon juice to the bowl.

Add all the ingredients to your blender or food processor and blend till smooth. If the paste is too thick, add a little more lemon juice or a little water.

Carefully pour the blended mixture into a nut milk bag, over a bowl. Attention: your nut milk bag will become yellow.It can just become your dedicated turmeric shots bag.

Squeeze out all the liquid. I got about 1/2 liters (2 cups) of fresh turmeric-ginger-lemon juice.

Store in a glass container. If you have little glass vials of around 50 ml (1.7 fl oz), one would be your daily dose.

Refrigerate and consume within 7-10 days. To keep them longer, you can add them to ice cube trays and freeze them.

These two energy shots provide different benefits with different mixes of fruits, spices and juice. The first Apple u0026amp; Ginseng Berry Energy Shots provide energy and focus for the day. While the Strawberry Orange Ginger Shots provide immunity and energy. This recipe yields ~10 2-oz energy shots of each type.

Energy Shot Recipes

Start by cutting your apples and adding to a blender with 1/2 cup water. Blend together until smooth, it will be thick like apple sauce. Set aside in a mixing bowl.

To that blender, now add the blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries. Then pour in the ginseng drink (or extract with water). Then add the cinnamon.

Add the blended apple back into the blender. Mix everything together until completely smooth.

Pour out into a mixing bowl through a fine mesh sieve. Stir with a spoon to help the juice flow through the strainer.

Once strained, add a cup of water to the mixture, stirring together until combined.

Get your shot glass containers and evenly distribute the berry energy shots into each. This should fill about 10-12 2 ounce containers.

Apple Ginseng Energy Shots

If your blender is large enough, add the oranges, strawberries, sliced ginger root, cayenne and 1 cup of water all at once. Blend together until completely combined

If your blender is on the small size, start with the oranges, strawberries and 1/2 cup water, and once blended down, add the ginger, cayenne and rest of water.

Once the mixture is complete, strain this through a mesh sieve into a large bowl, removing the pulp of the fruits and any excess seeds or ginger root skin.

Then add another 1/2 cup water to the mixture along with honey if you would like. This recipe contains ginger and cayenne which will make these shots pretty spicy, but the honey helps balance that out if it is too much.

Mix together until combined.

Get your shot glass containers and evenly distribute the ginger energy shots into each. This should fill about 10-15 2 ounce containers.
