Air Fryer Chicken Tenders Recipe

Combine buttermilk, paprika and Worcestershire sauce in a measuring cup. Put chicken tenders in a large resealable plastic bag. Pour the buttermilk mixture over the chicken and make sure all chicken is fully covered. Let it marinate for 2 hours. Take the chicken out of the refrigerator 30 minutes before cooking to bring it to room temperature.

In a shallow dish (pie plates work great) combine the breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, salt and olive oil. Mix together well.

Remove chicken one a time and shake off any excess buttermilk mixture. Then dredge the chicken tender into the breadcrumb mixture. Make sure they are fully covered. Gently shake off any excess and place in the air fryer basket. Add as many chicken tenders that you can fit in the air fryer basket. Cook for 4-6 minutes on each side. Make sure the chicken is golden brown and cooked through. Using a meat thermometer check that the chicken is at 165°. Repeat the process for the remaining chicken tenders.

tbsp red wine vinegar

lemon

garlic

tsp smoked paprika

oregano

tsp fresh cracked pepper

tsp sea salt

In a large bowl, add the olive oil, vinegar, lemon juice, zest, garlic, paprika, oregano, and salt. Mix everything together.

Marinate

Add the chicken to the bowl of marinade. Cover the bowl of chicken with plastic wrap. Set in the refrigerator and allow to marinate for at least 30 minutes, but it&#8217;s best to marinate 1 hour up to 6 hours.

Heat your BBQ

Whether you use a grill or grill pan, oil the grills well while the grill is still cold. For the BBQ, preheat to 400ºC before adding the chicken. As for the grill pan pre-heat to a Medium-High.

Cook

Place the chicken on the grill and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side. Your chicken is fully cooked once the internal temperature 165ºC.

Rest

Allow the chicken to rest for 5 minutes before cutting. This allows the chicken&#8217;s juices to redistribute.

Serve!

Preheat oven to 200 C Melt butter in a bowl.

Preheat oven to 375°. Coat 2 baking sheets with cooking spray.

For chimichurri: In a blender, combine all ingredients until smooth. Reserve ½ cup.

In a gallon-size zip bag, marinate the steaks with the remaining chimichurri for 30 minutes.

Combine the reserved ½ cup chimichurri and honey, reserve for plating.

Heat a grill pan over high heat, brush with oil. Remove ribeye steaks from marinade. Sear steaks on each side for 5-8 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 135° for medium rare. Allow to rest for 5 minutes.

Working against the grain, slice the steaks into strips. To serve, drizzle with chimichurri sauce and garnish with green onions.
