Homemade Fresh Peach Sauce is a delicious way to serve fruit to the entire family.&nbsp; It is so versatile and can be served so many ways.

Homemade Fresh Peach Sauce Recipe

Peaches (*skinned and pits removed)

lemon (juiced)

sugar

You can skin the peaches before or after you cook them.  Cut them in half and remove the pit.  Cover the bottom of a deep-sided pan with about 1 inch of water.  Add the peaches and allow to simmer over medium heat until softened, approximately 20 minutes. You don&#39;t want to boil them.

Peaches are too fibrous to pass through a sieve so add them to a blender, food processor, or stick immersion blender.  Process them until smooth. 

Return them to the heat and add lemon juice and sugar.  Heat until sugar is dissolved, approximately 10 minutes.

Peach Crisp

peaches (about 10 peaches)

cornstarch

lemon juice

cinnamon

old fashioned oats

all-purpose flour

½ cup packed light brown sugar

salt

unsalted butter diced (cold)

Vanilla ice cream

Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease an 9-inch square baking dish or 8-inch x 11-inch baking dish.

Place the peaches into the greased baking dish; add the sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice and cinnamon on top, stir and set aside.

In a small bowl, combine the oats, flour, brown sugar and salt. Cut in butter using a fork or your hands until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle the streusel mixture over the peach mixture.

Bake until the crisp topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbly, about 35-40 minutes. Allow to cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream, if desired.

Peach Crisp Recipe - Fresh Peach Dessert

brown sugar

white sugar

cinnamon (ground)

kosher salt

butter

peaches

apple juice

tbsp sugar

lemon juice (fresh)

tbsp all-purpose flour

tbsp cinnamon

non-stick cooking spray (or butter)

Preheat the oven to 375 °F and grease an 8x8 pan with butter or non-stick cooking spray.

In a medium-sized bowl combine the flour, sugar, salt, and cinnamon topping ingredients.  Cut in the brown sugar and then the cold butter into the dry ingredients using a pastry cutter or two forks. Refrigerate until needed.

Put skinned and sliced peaches into a large bowl.  Pour apple juice and lemon juice over the peaches.  Sprinkle with the flour, cinnamon, and sugar.  Stir to combine and pour into the prepared pan until 3/4 full.

Spoon the crisp topping over the peach filling.

Bake for 40 minutes or until golden brown.

Allow crisp to cool on a cooling rack and then chill before cutting into squares or spoon warm into bowls.  Top with ice cream if desired.

Store covered in the refrigerator
