Cream Cheese Frosting

(8-ounce) packages cream cheese,

butter (softened)

confectioner's sugar (sifted)

vanilla extract

Combine softened cream cheese and butter with a stand or electric mixer until well-combined and creamy, about 3 minutes. Make sure that the mixture is free of any lumps.

Add confectioner&#039;s sugar, 1/2 a cup at a time. After each cup has been incorporated, turn the mixer onto the highest speed setting and for about 10 seconds to lighten the frosting.

Add in vanilla and beat until well-blended, light, and fluffy.

Use to frost cakes or cupcakes that have been cooled completely. Store in the refrigerator.

Place your chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 30 seconds.&nbsp; Stir well.&nbsp; Return chocolate to microwave and heat for another 15 seconds and stir again.&nbsp; Continue heating chocolate for 15 seconds, stirring after each, until chocolate is completely melted and smooth.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Allow chocolate to cool for at least 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.&nbsp; You want chocolate to cool so that it is not hot to the touch, otherwise it will melt your butter and sugar and the frosting will not turn out.&nbsp;&nbsp;

While the chocolate is cooling, place butter in a separate bowl and use a stand mixer or electric mixer to beat until creamy.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Add melted, cooled chocolate and stir well.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Gradually add sugar, scraping down the sides and bottom of bowl occasionally so that ingredients are well combined.

Sprinkle in salt and vanilla extract, stir well.

With mixer on low, gradually add heavy cream to frosting.&nbsp; Gradually increase speed to high and beat for 30 seconds.

Pipe or spread frosting onto prepared, cooled baked good.

In a large bowl, use an electric hand mixer to cream butter until smooth, but not airy. Add milk, vanilla and salt and mix to incorporate.

Sift powdered sugar over the butter mixture. Mix until incorporated and smooth. Do not overmix, to avoid air pockets in your frosting.

Divide the frosting and add gel food coloring as desired.

Use a piping bag fitted with desired tip to pipe flowers onto parchment paper. Freeze the flowers for at least 20 minutes.

Cookie Dough Frosting

all-purpose flour ((157 grams))

unsalted butter (softened (226 grams))

light brown sugar¹ firmly packed ((133 grams))

dark brown sugar

sugar ((100 grams))

condensed milk ((60 milliliters))

table salt

heavy cream (or more as needed)

Chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350F (175C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Evenly pour flour over parchment and, once oven is fully preheated, bake for 5-7 minutes/until flour reaches 165F (75C). Allow flour to cool completely before using.

Meanwhile, in a large bowl, use an electric mixer to cream together butter, sugars (light brown, dark brown, and granulated) together until very well-combined.

Add condensed milk and vanilla extract and salt and stir together with electric mixer on low speed. Gradually increase speed to high and beat well for 2-3 minutes. Pause halfway through to scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl.

Add completely cooled flour gradually, stirring on low-speed until creamy and combined. Don’t forget to scrape the bowl periodically!

Add 2 tablespoons of heavy cream and stir, gradually increasing mixer speed to high and stir until creamy and smooth. Add additional cream, one tablespoon at a time, until desired consistency is reached (if you’re spreading the frosting you may need a bit more liquid than if you are piping it). If you are spreading the frosting you may wish to stir the chocolate chips in here or sprinkle them over the icing once it's spread. Whichever you choose is fine.

Pipe or spread over cake/cupcakes etc. then sprinkle with chocolate chips as desired. Enjoy!

Today I'm sharing a sweet and simple recipe for Cookie Dough Frosting! This recipe is made without eggs and I'll tell you how to easily heat-treat your flour so you can enjoy the taste of cookie dough without worry!

Coffee buttercream takes any dessert to the next level. Made with instant coffee granules this recipe is easy and delicious! 

Coffee Buttercream 

(1 Cup) Butter, at room temp.

(2 Tablespoons) Heavy Cream / Double Cream

In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, or large bowl with a hand held mixer beat the butter for 5 full minutes, until light and fluffy. 

Sieve the powdered sugar to prevent any lumps and add half to butter. Beat for another 5 minutes then add the remaining powdered sugar and mix for 3 more minutes.

While powdered sugar is mixing into butter, in a small bowl add instant coffee and hot water. Add the coffee mixture to frosting with heavy cream and beat for another 3 minutes. 

Spread or pipe frosting. Store in the fridge for up to 7 days, let come to room temperature, and mix before using. 

You saved my cake! Made a coffee cream filled cake from another recipe site and the filling was an epic fail. The cake was supposed to be finished with a coffee glaze biUt didn’t trust the recipe and searched instead for a coffee buttercream and found yours. This is superb and saved the day, Thank you for salvaging my cake. Will make this again to use on a chocolate cake. I’m sure it will be divine!

This recipe is simply amazing!It is simple and super good!I loved it!!!

I doubled the recipe for the chocolate cake I made, and the flavours went well with eachother. This recipe I feel like was too sweet, so measure your sugar to your liking. I used 7 cups of sugar which was too much for me. If you've made the same mistake in adding too much sugar, i suggest adding salt to balance it more, or beat it for longer. Otherwise, not too bad.

This is honestly the most amazing buttercream I've ever tasted.  I made my own coffee &amp; walnut sponge then filled and topped it with this.  Wow, just wow!  My family claims it's the best cake I've ever made &amp; I'm known for giving good cake.  Thank you for taking my baking to the next level.

Ohmygoodness so so delicious! I made a vanilla cake filled with chocolate mousse and the coffee buttercream for the frosting for my best friend’s birthday. To. Die. For. My friend is diabetic so I cut the sugar a tad but I like less sweet desserts anyway so it turned out perfect. Will definitely make again this is now my go-to! Thank you ☺️

Enjoy delicious Strawberry Sugar Free Cake Recipe as a perfect celebration cake for the whole family, be it Valentine&#x27;s or Mother&#x27;s day. This fluffy sugar free sponge cake combines layer cake with keto jam, meringue frosting, and homemade strawberry powder, fully low-carb, gluten-free, and diabetic friendly.

Strawberry Sugar Free Cake Recipe

almond flour

Meringue Icing

Strawberry jam

Prepare all ingredients

Start preparing all of the ingredients. Have your eggs at room temperature and separate egg whites and yolks. Sweetener is best to have powdered for baking as it melts much easier. If you have made our recipes, prepare jam and powder, and make the frosting if you have not. At the same time, heat your oven to 160 Celsius or 320 Fahrenheit. 

Whisk Egg Whites and Egg Yolks

Using your kitchen machine, place egg whites into the bowl and mix until fluffy. Place the bowl aside. Using a second bowl, add egg yolks together with sweetener and whisk. 

Once you whisk your egg yolks, scoop in the egg whites into the bowl and mix on low until combined.

Add the rest of the Ingredients

Add all other ingredients using a spoon while your machine keeps whisking them. 

Pour and Bake

Once your cake batter is thoroughly combined, pour it onto the large cake pan and bake for 30 to 35 minutes. 

Spread Jam

Make sure your sheet cake is thoroughly cooled before going into the next steps. Make small holes throughout the cake using the back of the spatula or wooden stick. This will help your jam to get directly into the cake to add more moisture and flavor.  Once your holes are all made, cut your sheet cake into half and spread half of the strawberry jam on one half of the cake. Place the other half of the top of the cake to form two layers. 

Extra Jam and Frosting

Spread the rest of the jam on top of the second layer of the cake. On top of that goes meringue frosting. You can either spread it with a spatula or fill our icing bag and frost it. 

Strawberry Powder

Lastly comes our strawberry Powder. Place powder into the sieve or bigger tea sieve, as I have done, and gently powder your whole cake with dehydrated strawberry powder.

Easy Peanut Butter Frosting

Cut the butter into tablespoon-sized pieces. Using the paddle attachment, whip butter for 3-4 minutes, scraping down the bowl occasionally. Beat until the butter looks light in color. Next, beat the peanut butter until well mixed.

Alternate adding 2-3 cups of powdered sugar at a time with the liquid ingredients: vanilla extract &amp; heavy cream. Ensure all the powdered sugar is well combined and beat for 2-3 minutes before adding additional powdered sugar.

Once all ingredients have been added, whip for 3-4 minutes until the frosting is light and airy. If the frosting is too thick, add additional heavy whipping cream 1 tablespoon at a time. Add a pinch of salt if needed to cut the sweetness.

Thank you for the recipe, your vanilla frosting is my go to so thought I'd give this one try! I have been searching for a peanut butter frosting recipe that is fluffy and not claggy. Finally I have found it! The texture is lovely and airy. I made a half recipe as written with 90g of peanut butter. I ended up adding 30g extra (120g) to taste the peanut butter better (I recommend this to anybody who is a peanut butter addict like my me and my family!
