Easy 5-ingredient Frozen Yogurt Bars packed with protein and with no added sugar! A refreshing healthy snack for kids and adults alike. Prep time does not include freezing.

5-Ingredient Healthy Frozen Yogurt Bars

milk

peanut butter (or any nut/seed butter)

cinnamon

tsp vanilla extract

medium ripe banana, sliced (or 1/2 cup berries of choice)

Line a loaf pan with parchment paper. (Alternatively, you can use a rimmed baking sheet and make thinner "yogurt bark.")

In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together yogurt, peanut butter, cinnamon and vanilla. Taste mixture. It will be tart. If you'd like it sweeter, add 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup. Fold in sliced banana. 

Spoon mixture into prepared pan and use a rubber spatula to smooth the top. Place in freezer and freeze for about 3 hours, or until set.

Once frozen, slice into 8-10 bars. Let bars sit for 5 minutes at room temperature before serving, if desired. Store in the freezer.

Thank you for this recipe. This was a nice solution for my sweet cravings, despite not being super sweet. I didn't have banana, but your alternative of strawbs/cacao/almond butter and adding choco chips/sliced almonds made this so tasty. It was pretty messy to eat, so next time I'll just stick em with popsicle sticks.

Can I use powder peanut butter mixed with water to equal half a cup in place of jar peanut butter, or do I need the fat in the jar peanut butter? Sounds delicious!

Granola &amp; Berries Frozen Greek Yogurt Bars

almond butter

tbsp maple syrup

applesauce

almond milk

oats

salt

berries

water

plain greek yogurt

In mixing bowl combine the almond butter, applesauce, maple syrup, almond milk, oats, vanilla extract, and salt to make the granola mixture.

Line an 8&#215;8 baking dish with parchment paper and flatten the granola mixture into it.

Place in the freezer while you work on the other two layers.

In a small pot combine the berries, water, and maple syrup over low-medium heat.

Smash the berries and let the mixture boil for a few minutes until it thickens. Remove from the heat and place in the fridge to further thicken.

For the yogurt layer combine the greek yogurt, maple syrup, and vanilla extract evenly.

Remove the granola layer from the freezer and pour the berry mixture on top. Spread evenly and place back in the freezer to set for about 30 minutes.

Remove from the freezer again and pour the yogurt layer on top. Spread evenly. (Optional: Make the swirly design with a toothpick at this point!)

Place in the freezer again to set completely for 1-2 hours or until the yogurt is solid.

Remove from the freezer, cut into bars or squares, and enjoy!

Made these with peanut butter since that is what I had at the time. I want to try them with almond butter to taste test but they were very good. The creamy yogurt with the punch if the berry layer mixed with the oats is so good! I love the texture the oats give since they are not cooked. Like I said, I will be making again but with almond butter. I love being able to have them on hand as they live in the freezer. I do recommend heating up for 10 seconds or pull one out a few minutes before enjoying it otherwise it is a little too hard.

Wonderful - I make these all the time and they never disappoint!!
