How to make Kale Apple Salad

This Easy Garden Salad is colorful, delicious, and completely customizable depending on the season, where you live, and what you have. It&#039;s the perfect side dish to almost any meal!

Easy Garden Salad

buttermilk

mayonnaise

sour cream

red onion (minced)

dill (minced)

parsley (minced)

garlic (minced)

lemon juice

sugar

Salt and black pepper

grape tomatoes (halved lengthwise (see note 4))

radishes (ends trimmed, halved lengthwise and sliced)

carrots (peeled, halved lengthwise, and sliced)

Persian cucumbers

To make the ranch dressing, in a medium bowl, whisk together buttermilk, mayonnaise, sour cream, red onion, dill, parsley, garlic, lemon juice, sugar, and salt and pepper to taste (I like 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper). Refrigerate at least 10 minutes to blend flavors. Whisk to recombine before serving.

To assemble the salad, in a large bowl, combine lettuce, endive, tomatoes, radishes, carrots, and cucumbers. Drizzle with salad dressing and toss until evenly coated.

Combine oil, balsamic vinegar, lemon juice, salt and pepper together by whisking with a fork. Set aside.

Prepare all the veggies and feta cheese for the salad.

Place leafy greens on the bottom, top it off with the rest of the ingredients.

Drizzle the dressing right before serving the salad and toss everything together. You can sprinkle some extra feta on top. It's best served right away.&nbsp;

Make Vinaigrette

Mash garlic and salt with the side of a knife on cutting board until it forms a paste. Scrape into a jar. Add in oil, vinegar, sugar Dijon, Mrs Dash and oregano. Close jar and shake well to combine.

Make Salad

Add salad green to large salad bowl. Arrange carrots, bell pepper, tomato, cucumber, onion and cheese on top. Just before serving, drizzle on dressing and toss to coat. Add croutons and toss again. Serve immediately with pepperoncini if using.

Today I have the perfect formula for Garden Salad with iceberg lettuce, cucumbers and tomato wedges plus cheese, croutons and a delicious homemade Italian vinaigrette to pour over it.

Garden Salad

My old school Garden Salad. The one I can make any day because I always have these vegetables on hand! And sometimes, when I feel like getting really fancy, I even add a sprinkle of parsley. 😳There really are no rules when it comes to a Garden Salad. Any greens, any vegetables. Make this your own!

iceberg lettuce

cherry

cucumber

carrot

parsley

tbsp cider vinegar

tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Dijon Mustard ((or other non spicy smooth mustard))

tsp cooking/kosher salt ((or 1/4 tsp table salt))

tsp black pepper

Dressing: Shake Dressing in a jar. Taste and adjust - more oil for creamier/less tang, vinegar for more tang, sugar if you want touch of sweet.

Toss: Place all Salad ingredients in a big bowl. Pour over Dressing. Toss well.

Serve: Transfer to serving bowl and serve immediately!

Cook the beans and peas in boiling, salted water for 5 minutes.  Add the  courgettes to the cooking water for the last 2 minutes.  Drain the vegetables  and leave until completely cold.  Stir the spring onions into the vegetables.  Place in a serving dish.

Mix Perfect Shake Season-All Special Blend, Parsley and Paprika with the water and vinegar.   Blend thoroughly with the oil.  Pour the dressing over the salad and stir gently until all the vegetables are well coated.

Add the ingredients to a mason jar in the order listed. Start by pouring in the salad dressing, then add hard veggies, beans or grains. Then add other ingredients. Seal jar with lid and store in the fridge until ready to use.

How To Eat: Give the mason jar a really good shake upside down to help mix in the dressing. You can eat with a fork right from the jar, or dump all ingredients into a bowl and serve.

Triple Green Superfood Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette

red leaf lettuce, chopped

Add all the dressing ingredients to your blender or food processor. With variable speed units, start with a low speed and then gradually increase it to a higher speed until the mixture is perfectly smooth.

If you don't have a blender or a food processor, simply add all the ingredients to a medium mixing bowl, a dressing shaker or a mason jar and just whisk or shake until everything's well-mixed.

Mix the Dressing

In a large bowl, gently toss the red leaf lettuce, arugula and dandelion leaves together. Add salt and pepper to taste and continue to toss.

Drizzle on dressing to taste and continue to toss the greens.

Scatter the grape tomato halves, carrot slices, red onion, yellow bell pepper and cucumber over the greens.

Add pepper to taste, drizzle on more dressing (if needed), and gently toss the salad to ensure all the ingredients are evenly coated.

If using, sprinkle feta cheese and homemade croutons over the salad. Drizzle with more dressing if desired.

You can add your favorite protein and make this salad a main course or enjoy it as a meal starter or side dish.***
