Garlic Cheese Bread

mozzarella cheese

Italian parsley (or dried parsley) (optional)

Preheat the oven to broil and line a baking sheet with foil.

Slice the loaf of bread in half and lay each with the inside of the bread facing up.

Spread the butter over the surface and then sprinkle on the garlic salt. (You can precut it into slices at this point if desired.)

Top with the cheese and parsley.

Broil for 2-3 minutes until cheese is melted and starts to barely brown. Slice and serve.

Cut loaf in half lengthwise. Combine melted butter, minced garlic and 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley. Brush the butter mixture evenly over the bread. Spread each cheese over the top making sure to evenly distribute over the bread. Sprinkle with the other 1/2 teaspoon of dried parsley.

Place on cookie sheet and bake for 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Turn the broiler on for the last minute of cooking to lightly brown the top. Stay close as broilers are unpredictable.

Quick Cheesy Garlic Bread

bread loaf approx 30cm/12" long ((Note 1))

unsalted butter

tsp salt

garlic (, minced (~ 3 tsp))

Parsley (, for sprinkling (optional))

Preheat oven to 160C/320F.

Mix butter with garlic and salt.

Cut bread in half horizontally.

Drizzle with garlic butter all over - don't miss any patches!

Bake 20 minutes until bread is crispy on the edges.

Crank oven up to 200C/390F. Top with cheese, bake 7 - 10 min until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Sprinkle with parsley if using, cut bread into pieces. Serve immediately as a side for meals, dunking in soups and stews!

This oven baked Garlic Cheese Bread is an easy to prepare, quick and supremely scrumptious snack. A recipe which only includes bread, butter, garlic, herbs, lots of cheese, and can be customized in so many ways. A sure shot winner recipe!

black pepper (or add as required)

red chili flakes (or add as required)

dry oregano (or any dried herbs, add as required)

Preheat oven for 10 minutes at 200 degrees C/392 degrees F before baking.

Slice the loaf of bread in slices having 0.75 inches width. Now halve each slice.

Take the softened butter (butter at room temperature) in a bowl. I used salted butter. If using unsalted butter, then add a bit of salt.

Grate or mince 3 to 4 medium peeled garlic cloves directly into the softened butter. Instead of garlic, you can also add garlic chives.

Mix the grated garlic very well with the butter.

Grate cheddar or mozzarella cheese. You will need about ½ cup of grated cheese.

Preparation

Now spread the garlic butter evenly on all the slices.

Top with the cheese generously.

Sprinkle with your favorite herb or spice. You can add oregano, basil, red chili flakes, black pepper, Italian seasoning etc.

Place the bread slices in a baking tray.

Making Garlic Cheese Bread

Now keep the baking tray on the top most rack of your oven. If using a microwave oven in the convection mode, then keep the baking tray on the glass turn table.

Bake at 200 degrees C/392 degrees F for 5 to 6 minutes or till the edges become a light golden and a bit crisp. 

The cheese will also melt. You don&#39;t need to toast these slices.

Serve these Garlic Cheese Bread hot with tomato ketchup as a starter or as as a snack.

This Garlic Cheese Bread is SO easy to make and tastes just like you would get from your favorite pizza place!

The Easiest Garlic Cheese Bread

self rising flour

plain, non-fat Greek yogurt

Italian herbs, I

shredded cheese

Salt

Pre-heat oven to 450 degrees F.  Add the flour and yogurt to a medium sized bowl and mix until a dough is formed.  You will probably have to use your hands to get it all mixed together.  Line a large sheet pan with a non-stick mat or parchment paper and lightly grease.  Use your hands to press out the dough.  you want it to be about 1/4 inch thick.

Evenly spread the butter over the dough and then sprinkle with 1/2 -1 teaspoons both granulated garlic and dried herbs.  Top with cheese and then sprinkle again with garlic and dried herbs.  If desired, sprinkle a little kosher salt on top.

Bake cheese bread until beginning to brown and cheese is bubbly, about 15 minutes.  Let cool for a few minutes, cut into rectangles and serve with marinara or ranch.

Easy Garlic Cheese Bread

This Garlic Cheese Bread Recipe is so good! The rolls are buttery, cheesy and absolutely crave able. They pull apart and are soft, garlicky and delicious.

Buttery Cheddar Garlic Rolls

bread flour (divided)

instant yeast (1 package)

white sugar

salt

milk (warmed (but not hot))

butter (melted)

water

egg (beaten lightly)

garlic (minced)

Salt & pepper

cheddar cheese (grated)

butter (for brushing on top)

In a stand mixer, combine 2 Cups of the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.

Add the milk, butter, water and egg, and mix using the dough hook, adding the remaining flour a little at a time. A shaggy, thick, sticky dough will form.

Continue kneading, either by hand or by mixer until the dough become smooth and springs back when you press it with a finger.

Let the dough rest on the counter for 15 minutes, covered with a barely damp towel.

Sprinkle flour on your countertop, and roll out dough to a rectangle..

Mix the butter, garlic, salt and pepper together, and spread out over the entire surface of the dough.

Add the cheese evenly over the dough.

Roll up, and cut into 12 rolls (I use dental floss for a clean cut).

Place the rolls in your baking dish, cover and let them rise for about an hour - until puffy.

Preheat the oven to 375, and bake for 20 minutes until browned.

Remove from the oven, and brush with butter.

Devour.

These are proofing for an hour now. I added some jarred jalapeños that I drained and lightly blotted with paper towel. They already look amazinggg.

The rolls were soft and fluffy.  There was a subtle garlic flavor and cheese throughout the rolls.  I spread a little bit of butter on a hot roll and it was amazing!    We managed to keep them in a container for 4 days and enjoyed them throughout the week.  They were great with the soup but I also enjoyed them with a salad and just for a snack.
