Pouding étagé au citron et au Graham

ml (1/2 tasse) de sucre

ml (2 c. à soupe) de fécule de maïs

jaunes d’oeufs

375 ml (1 1/2 tasse) de lait

citron, le zeste râpé seulement

ml (2 c. à soupe) de beurre non salé

ml (1/2 tasse) de jus de citron

375 ml (1 1/2 tasse) de crème 35 %

60 ml (1/4 tasse) de sucre

2,5 ml (1/2 c. à thé) d’extrait de vanille

biscuits Graham carrés

Dans une casserole, hors du feu, mélanger le sucre et la fécule. Ajouter les jaunes d’oeufs et bien mélanger à l’aide d’un fouet. Incorporer le lait et le zeste de citron.

Porter à ébullition à feu moyen en remuant et en raclant le fond de la casserole. Laisser mijoter environ 1 minute. Retirer du feu. Incorporer le beurre et le jus de citron. Verser dans un bol. Couvrir d’une pellicule de plastique directement sur la crème au citron. Laisser tiédir et réfrigérer jusqu’à ce que la préparation soit tempérée, soit environ 1 heure.

Crème au citron

Dans un bol, fouetter la crème, le sucre et la vanille au batteur électrique jusqu’à l’obtention de pics fermes. Réserver

Crème chantilly

Dans un plat de service carré de 20 cm (8 po), étaler le tiers de la crème au citron. Couvrir avec la moitié des biscuits. Y étaler le tiers de la crème au citron puis la moitié de la crème chantilly. Poursuivre ainsi avec les biscuits et le reste des ingrédients en terminant par la crème chantilly. Réfrigérer 8 heures ou toute une nuit.

J'ai fait cette recette pour un repas avec ma famille. J'ai utilisé des biscuits graham sans gluten pour respecter les restrictions alimentaires de mon mari. Tout le monde a beaucoup aimé. Merci Ricardo!

Une recette que j’adore! Même avec seulement 3 heures au frigo, c’est très bon! Quand on est dans la période des fraises, je couvre le dessus avec des fraises, c’est délicieux! :)

Finalement j'ai trouvé! C'est que le titre est très différent. Pour ceux qui ont aimé l'autre version vaut vraiment la peine.

Je recherche la version au chocolat de cette recette qui a déjà paru dans un numéro il y a longtemps, on avait adoré J'ai fait toutes mes revues et je ne la retrouve plus, pourriez vous me dire où je peux la trouver car elle n'est pas sur le site non plus.

Inspect the beans to remove any small rocks or debris. Rinse well.

Place the beans, 8 cups of water, ham hock, bouillion cubes, and chopped onion in a large pot with a lid. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to a simmer. Add salt to taste. Cook over medium low for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until tender to your liking. Remove the ham hock, shred the meat, and return it to the pot, if desired.

Lime Pie with a Whole Wheat Crust

FOR THE CRUST

all-purpose flour

whole wheat flour,

tbsp sugar

tsp kosher salt

unsalted butter

FOR THE FILLING

sugar

cornstarch

eggs

lime zest

lime juice

milk

tsp rosewater

FOR THE TOPPING

egg whites

tsp cream of tartar

Scraped seeds vanilla bean (optional)

smoked ham, chopped (about 3 cups chopped)

garlic,

chicken broth

collard greens (or other green of your choice)

black-eyed peas, drained and rinsed

(28-ounce) can petite diced tomatoes, drained

Heat the oil in a large pot or dutch oven over medium heat.  Add the ham and onion and cook for 5 to 7 minutes, or until the onions are translucent.  Add the garlic, cook about a minute more.  Add the chicken broth and bring to a boil.  Stir in the frozen greens.  Bring back up to a boil, reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.

Add the rinsed peas and drained tomatoes.  Add salt and pepper to taste.  Cook for an additional 10 minutes.

Grind the graham cracker with a food processor or blender, or crush them in a zipped top bag with a rolling pin.

In a medium mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, butter, and sugar with a fork until evenly moistened.

Pour the crumbs mixture into the pan and press the crumbs down into the base and up the sides. Tip: Use the bottom of a measuring cup or glass to press down the crumbs evenly. Refrigerate until you make the filling (up to two days).

Bake or refrigerate according to the recipe&#039;s instructions.
